Our kitchen sink was draining very slowly and the water was backing up. My wife and I decided to try Pristine Plumbing based on their excellent rating and reviews with Homestars. Daniel returned my call right away and was able to accommodate our request for an appointment within a few days. We are very happy with the service we received from Michael, who arrived promptly at 8:00 on the day of the appointment. Michael was friendly, honest and efficient. He listened to our concerns before assessing the situation and providing us with a fair quote. In no time he cleaned out our kitchen drainage pipe and completely cleared the clog, while keeping us informed along the way. He even provided tips on what we could do to prevent future problems and areas we should keep an eye on. Everything was cleaned up afterwards and no mess was left. The price we paid was very reasonable; about half the price of what a plumber from a different company charged for clearing the drain clog two years ago. Michael from Pristine Plumbing did a more thorough job and even installed a bathroom faucet that we provided and tested our water pressure without charging extra. I highly recommend Pristine Plumbing and will definitely use them again if needed in the future.

We recently hired JMT roofing to replace our 22 year old asphalt roof. My wife and I were impressed by the great service we received from start to finish. John the owner came promptly at our arranged time to thoroughly inspect our roof and described everything that would be done. He was honest and knowledgeable in replying to all our questions and the price was competitive considering the high quality materials to be used. We had no doubts when we made the decision to go with JMT. Kale (the foreman) and his crew came promptly around 7:30 am a few days later and worked steadily and efficiently on our roof. They did a great job on the roof as well as the cleanup. We appreciate John's attention to details and his photos giving us a closer view of the progress and of our newly finished roof. We highly recommend JMT for any roofing work.

At the end of November 2017, we contacted Gandy Installations to give us a quote on installing a new gas furnace to replace our 33 year old one. Rob D. came well prepared with his ipad and brochures. He explained the process to my wife and me, from the paperwork to installation and what to expect afterwards. Rob was courteous and assessed our needs before giving us a detailed quote on the Lennox furnace we picked based on his recommendations. We scheduled the furnace install on December 11 with Gandy. On the day of install, Jack arrived promptly at 8:00 am and Glenn arrived soon after Jack. They were both polite and respectful. Jack was called away to another (bigger) job about an hour into the job, while Glenn stayed behind and finished the rest of the install. My wife and I are very pleased with the service we got from Glenn. He was efficient and thorough from install to clean-up. We appreciate how Glenn patiently answered all of our questions, and even showed us how to program the new thermostat he installed along with the furnace. We also appreciate how Gandy Installations provided a worry-free experience. They took care of all necessary paperwork: the permit, Fortis rebate, and even registered the furnace with Lennox for the warranty. Thank you Gandy Installations for the excellent service.
