We hired Craftsman Custom Build Shutters back in April of 2011 to provide us with a quote for our new home. After meeting with them we ended up giving them a deposit to start the work the following week. A week to two weeks later the owner/installer came by to put up the blinds. Mid way of the installation I came home to check up on his progress and noticed him standing on the BRAND NEW STACKED CUSTOM HARDWOOD we had ordered 6 weeks ago as a step to reach the top of the shutter. This caused Damage to both walls that were just painted and the hardwood. After i confronted him about this he said it was not his fault. We then had our painter come in to fix the damage the installer made. We also had to order new 12 foot planks of hardwood because those were damaged as well not to mention the shutters they installed had small dings in them and half of them wouldn't even close I DEFINITELY WOULD NOT RECOMMEND Craftsman Custom Build Shutters!!
