Blair was helpful, polite and friendly. He was very neat in his work and cleaned up well. He recommended several repairs along with a timeline to consider them. I would welcome him back into our home

I contacted Gentleman Plumbers re: imminent sewer back up. Appt scheduled in timely manner. Steve arrived first day, was very polite and thorough, making a couple minor repairs. Diagnosis of problem took most of the day (despite records revealing past occurrence of roots in pipe) Auger stuck in pipe at end of day required another crew the next day to remove. Also determined (after the auger was stuck and payment made!) that the blockage was in the city portion of the pipe however the city crew could not clear it until the auger was removed (and we were able to be home) This meant 3 1/2 days until pipe actually clear which was quite frustrating especially since we had already paid $850.00 for a job that actually should have been done by the city!)Dan and his crew were very polite and helpful when they came to remove the auger, clearing as much of the problem as they could. Next time I will call the city first.
Hi J. Sorry to hear about the difficulties with the Auger. They don't get stuck very often, but when they do, it can be a real headache. I'm happy to hear that the guys were all polite and helpful (as they should be) but at the same time, I'm disappointed it took so long to clear the auger out of the way. I'll speak with the guys about this to find out more and what solutions there are to avoid problems like this in the future. Is it OK if I give you a call to get more details on what happened here?
