It's been a over a year since PMT repaired our eaves troughs and made changes to help with better drainage. We had been getting water in our basement from both heavy rainfall and from snow melt. Waterproofing quotes were extremely expensive. We'd already had our waves troughs repaired once (unsuccessfully) but we decided to try again. Best $750 spent in the house. I am reviewing now because I was just thinking about the fact that we no longer have to check our basement for water every time it rains. The job was done right and now water drains appropriately and well away from our house. We would definitely recommend and use PMT again. They solved our drainage problem and made repairs and changes in a timely and professional manner.

We decided to go with Professional Roofers after reading some reviews on Homestars and hearing through word of mouth that they were good. We got a few quotes and Professional Roofers also quoted us a competitive price. They were absolutely great to work with. Great at explaining everything and always on time for initial appointments. They also completed the job very quickly. We've had the new roof for seven months now and it looks great and we've had no problems at all with it. I recommend them to anyone I know looking for a new roof!

I called Zenic Insulation based on the reviews on here and I am happy that I did. The team of three arrived on time, and covered up all areas in my house that they would be walking through and working in. They checked the attic and let me know what I had currently in terms of insulation (not nearly enough!) and they started quickly on bringing it up to standard. They were done the entire job within an hour and had me check the work before closing the attic up. They also added insulation to the wood covering the attic opening. Absolutely no mess was left behind and the price was exactly as quoted over the phone. Only 12 hours after the job I've already noticed a major difference in temperature and have had to adjust the heat down. I was very impressed and would definitely call Zenic Insulation again.

We heard an animal in the front part of our roof and assumed it was a squirrel. Whatever it was, we knew we had to get it out and the job wasn't something we knew how to do ourselves. We called another company first who said they would come the next afternoon. They were a no show (of course, very frustrating when you stay home for them!), so we saw the great reviews on HomeStars for SWAT so we called them next. SWAT gave us an exact time that they would show up and they were right on time. They quickly assessed the situation and told us that they could do the job right away if we wanted. They inspected the space and then set up a one-way door in case the animal was still hiding inside. Haven't had a problem since. We were impressed with their punctuality and their ability to rectify our problem on the spot, without having to come back on a different day. Would definitely call SWAT again first if we had another similar problem.

We recently decided to renovate our dated kitchen, and Paul was recommended to us by a friend. Paul completed much of the work himself and brought in other skilled professionals to do certain parts of the project. He always arrived when he said he would and was willing to put in long hours to get the work done, if need be. He was very quick at returning phone calls, emails, and texts, which is obviously important and appreciated when dealing with a renovation in your home. If any issues arose with my original design ideas, Paul was great at problem solving and coming up with solutions quickly. He was also always approachable and was willing to make any changes that I felt were necessary. He included me in decisions as they were being made to ensure that the work was completed in exactly the way that I wanted it to be, which was especially important as the project wrapped up and there were a lot of small details that came down to personal preference. The quality of the work was also great. Everything looks 100% professional (as it should!) and Paul even removed, altered, and re-attached some of the original 1930s wainscoting on one of my walls to maintain the original look of the home. Renovating a kitchen is obviously not a cheap job, but I always felt that Paul's prices were fair, and he was easily able to explain any breakdown of costs if I had any questions. I have heard so many reno horror stories from friends in the past, so choosing someone to complete this job felt a bit like taking a leap of faith! But it turns out that I had nothing to worry about, as Paul made things very easy for me, walking me through things as they came up and solving issues for me so that I didn't have to worry. I would definitely call Paul again for any future projects that may come up in our home, and I would not hesitate one bit to recommend him to friends and family. He is professional, honest, and friendly, and very easy to work with. Before and after pictures included below.

Had already heard good things about Window Choice. James came to our house promptly after we called and we were given an exact quote on the spot for the new windows that we needed. He was also able to give opinions about the style and type of windows we might choose since I am obviously not as knowledgeable about the available choices as a professional would be. Those who came to do the work did a professional and efficient job. We are very happy with our new windows. They work exactly as expected and they look great from the inside and out. Would definitely call Window Choice again.
