Roz is a wonderful interior designer who has contacts through the GTA for furniture, accessories, appliances, fixtures, everything to enhance your home. Just recently my washer broke down ( during the pandemic) and in a panic I contacted Roz for her advice. Not being able to go into a store made it even more necessary to have a trusted person to suggest who I should contact. She connected me with her person in the appliance business and within a couple of days I had a new washing machine delivered and installed. Encore responded promptly to my request for a quote for painting the exterior windows and the trim of my home. Jon was very professional and courteous when he came over to inspect the work that needed to be done and provided a reasonable quote for the job. Alex sent his team over on the start date as promised. Bobby was very accommodating and did a great job repairing and painting the window trim and doors. He was a pleasure to work with. He works very efficiently and was able to complete the job within a couple of days. All in all, I was very satisfied with the results and am pleased to recommend Encore Painting Ltd.

Roz was great to work with. She helped re-new my old couch and chairs by selecting beautiful, contemporary fabrics. Her selections made them look better than they did originally. My interlocking caved in over the winter making the front walk look terrible. It also caused the first step to be higher than normal. I called Adam from Leveled Ground - and he gave me a very fair estimate for the repairs. The crew arrived on time and were very courteous, efficient and did a professional job. Within two days my walkway was as good as new and I could walk up the steps easily. They made sure the job was completely done to my satisfaction before they left. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Adam and Leveled Ground for any interlocking repairs.

I had the kitchen cupboard hinges repaired by a "friend" and they fell apart within a matter of weeks. I was lucky enough to find Kitchen Fix - Jeffrey was dispatched to my house the same day and he was so professional. Dealing with the proprietor, Nemo, gave me the confidence to proceed with this project. He is very professional, knowledgable, honest and an all around good guy. The teams he sent to my home were very conscientious, arriving on time every day and worked hard to complete the job on schedule. I must single out Ramsey who installed the carpet. He went above and beyond to make sure my stairs were done right. And Andrew who installed the hardwood also did a beautiful job. The house looks totally updated and refreshed. After 25 years we decided to bite the bullet and get a new energy efficient furnace. We contacted Direct Energy and the representative was very professional and knowledgable in assisting us with our decision. The installation crew was fantastic - everything we needed to know was carefully explained to us. They hit a snag with the new gas water heater but the installer came back to our home later that evening to make it right! We were very impressed with this personal care service. We turned down the temperature on the new furnace and we still felt comfortable and cozy. Looking forward to our energy bills getting smaller!

The selection and workmanship at Dufferin Iron is outstanding. They have a great website with a huge selection of stylish railings. After emailing Oliver with my selections, he came over and personally measured my retaining wall and stairs to get the exact dimensions for the new railings. He was very professional, helpful and knowledgable. The railings were beautifully crafted and arrived on time. They were professionally installed and they look amazing. My old wooden retaining wall was leaning like the tower in Pisa, so I contacted Mike from Paradise Views for a quote and discussed materials for a new wall, steps and pathway. After reviewing numerous photos on houzz I knew I wanted natural stone for the retaining wall. Mike came to the stone yard with me and helped me pick the appropriate stone for the job. He was very knowledgable about the construction of this type of wall and his crew was very pleasant, courteous , hardworking and efficient. They were at my home every day as promised until the job was done. We used flagstone for the front stairs and recycled my pavers for the walkway. For the wall we chose stonescape - a charcoal coloured stone with a lot of texture. Mike selected additional material for the pathway to complement the flagstone on the stairs and which works well with the wall. I am very pleased with the finished project. Celia - Toronto, Ontario

It was a pleasure dealing with Chris and his assistant Jon. Chris handled the job very professionally. He explained everything as the job progressed all the while maintaining his cheery disposition. He did a great job of removing all the old caulking and re-caulked all my windows and doors ensuring no more leaks! Did I mention he cleans up everything when the job is completed.
