Follow-up to my previous review, Maydone contacted me to review my concerns, they then offered to replace the damaged part at no cost, Adel (the repairman who did the original inspection) came today and replaced the part, Adel was very polite, explained what he did, balanced my machine and gave me some wonderful tips, he made up for my previous experience so I decided to change my rating. Thanks Adel. I contacted Maydone based on their HomeStars review, repairman came on Friday Aug 12 determined the drain pump needed to be replaced, the company sent me a quote, I paid the initial charge of $99.00 +tax and agreed to have the work completed, was promised within 4 business days, on Thursday I contacted the company re appointment, had to send 4 emails before a call was returned on Friday to book appt for Monday. 2 men arrived on Monday, after installing the pump I was told there was a leak, this leak was not there when the previous repairman did his inspection, the new quote was an additional $200. Total repair $626. Also the repairman tried to collect $219.00 (this amt was already included in the quote from the company, which I was required to pay online). I decided not to proceed with the additional repair, will find another trustworthy person/company to deal with, this was a very disappointing and expensive experience.

Optima replaced my windows in 2017, I recently noticed a huge crack in one of my windows and contacted the company on January 8, 2020, I was told it would take about 6 weeks to have the window replaced. After not hearing from anyone, I called on March 4, I was told no one available but someone would contact me, to date I have not been contacted. I am disappointed in the follow up services of this company, everyone was very friendly initially but it appears service stops once the sale is completed. Follow up: review edit Chris contacted me today and explained the reason for the delay and apologized for the miscommunication, he personally delivered the replacement window and promised that someone would be here in a few days to install it.

Chris is a very friendly person, seems to educate himself about different nationalities, he doesn't just sell his product, he expresses interest in his client's background which makes the process quite relaxing. The work crew did a great job, worked all day to get the job done. Thanks for the beautiful windows.
