My most recent project with Regency Upholstery was for a mid-century modern armchair. They did an excellent job bringing the chair back to life, restoring it to its simple beauty. The chair was a lucky find - I paid almost nothing for the actual item, but knew its intrinsic value. It had definitely seen better days but was still solid. Regency came by to provide an estimate (note: I supplied my own upholstery weight fabric) and pick up. Work was completed in the time frame promised (approx. 2 weeks) and the chair was delivered back. This is a family run business and all are very pleasant, friendly and professional. They took care of another chair for me some years ago, and I was also pleased with that experience and the work done. Highly recommend.

Only great things to say about Jeff at Wood Specialties. A very professional and pleasant man who does fantastic refinishing work. I inherited a unique antique side table that had been allowed to fall into neglect in recent years (mostly the table's top.) Its natural beauty was also hidden under some layers of stain etc. Under Jeff's care, the item is like "night and day" when you compare the before and after. I couldn't be more pleased with the restoration and transformation. Some background: I wanted and needed a trusted specialist. Without having had this type of work done before (and no one else able to refer me), I started my research on-line. The "HomeStars" site and the customer reviews were very helpful and ultimately helped me narrow down who I would contact. From my first contact with Jeff (phone and e-mail), I had a good impression. Being able to e-mail current photos so Jeff could take a look and give an estimate (including cartage as I needed pick up and drop off) was enormously helpful. He got back to me very promptly with the estimate. It was acceptable to me and we then arranged for pick up of the item and discussion on some details. From beginning to end, all went smoothly and I felt confident in who was taking care of the item and its restoration. If I have occasion again for this type of work, I will definitely contact Jeff. I will also refer on to any friends and family.
