From the salesperson to the installers, all of the staff have been very good. The salesperson did an evaluation of our home and picked the best furnace/air filter that would suit our needs. He did not try to push the most expensive models but instead gave us the one that was right for us. The duct cleaners/furnace installers were quick and efficient and most importantly prompt, they arrived and got the job done when they said they would.
There are never enough staff available to help with kitchen questions. The staff that were available were pretty good at designing our kitchen, however it took a couple of iterations before we had one that worked (ie. enough spacers so that doors would open fully and a layout that was practical). The items were easy to assemble and install but since it was a custom layout you had to be very organized with all of the parts that were kitted. They also include a DVD that shows you how to install the cabinets and gives helpful tips along the way.
The store was quite busy so the wait for service was long, but well worth the wait. The staff provided us help with determining how much material we would need and the best underlayment to use in the rooms (basement rooms). They also went to great lengths to find us enough flooring since there was not enough at their location.
The staff here are very helpful in picking out paint colours as well as types of paints for specific applications (ie. high humidity areas, painting brick). They sell Benjamin Moore paints, which I find have the best selection of colours. Also the paint is a lot thicker so requires less coats. They also sell samplers so that you can test out the colour before you buy a whole pail.
