Initially I was pleased to work with Brock - the sales rep Phil seemed very knowledgeable and understood the technical challenges involved in my window replacement. Also the product seemed good. The person doing the measurements came a couple weeks later, and after that it went downhill. When the installers came 6-8wks later, almost all the windows were the wrong size. They assured me they could get replacement windows in 3 weeks, and after several weeks of waiting/asking, I received a $500 credit. However, it took 6 weeks, and at that point all communication with "customer service" was lost. There was an issue with my financing, and it took me several hours of my time over several weeks working directly with their accounting person to sort it out. I couldn't even get a response from their customer service team. In fairness, I think the initial assessment and install was eventually done well, but unfortunately almost the exact story played out with a friend of mine (his case is worse because he's at risk now of losing the government grant), and so I highly recommend avoiding this company until they can sort out their issues.

I contacted Martin to redo the walkway from the driveway to the backyard entrance, and then steps to go down to the actual backyard (we have a walkout basement, so the grade is somewhat substantial). From the start he was courteous and made sure he was providing what we wanted, and that the solution worked in our budget. This was greatly appreciated because we really wanted to stay within our limits. Between him and his colleague (Chris), they sent some CAD drawings of what we discussed, and we made a few adjustments together, which was done without any issue. The job started on time, and finished on time. The results are great, and Martin made several checks to see that we were happy during and after the job. At some point we didn't like the way one of the steps was landing on our existing patio, and we asked them to move it. Again this was no issue. We have a proper contract with a stated warranty on materials and workmanship, and everything was done above board, with invoices, etc. I'm confident if there happens to be any issue, Martin or Chris will take care of it.

We hired Accustar and Nev and Ed spent a few hours thoroughly going through the new house giving plenty of useful information along the way. We received a written report with pictures (alson on a CD) afterwards and Ed sat again to go over it in detail. They answered and gave advice to all the questions we had. Very friendly and professional, i would definately recommend. Also, the infrared scanning is useful in my opinion.
