Called Peter at Plumbers Direct about a leaky ceiling and he responded right away. Came and assessed the situation and discovered a faulty flange under the toilet. He was back in a few hours and replaced the part with a kit and also replaced a valve that was leaking. This was our second experience with Plumbers Direct and in both cases they were quick, cordial, responsive and effective. The price charged was also reasonable especially considering the urgent response

I called Contact Pest Control to protect me from rodents that were found in my neighbour's house. Contact did an examination internally and externally and found evidence of the rodents underneath my back room. I purchased a year long package which included coverage for rodents, carpenter ants and other pests. This also involved laying traps and returning to check and keep them filled. Contact also did work underneath my back room and within my kitchen to close off any potential routes for the rodents into our house. Taha was very responsive to my requests and he was easy to contact. They came out several times to ensure the coverage was being maintained. The work they did closing off any entrances was very well done and any mess was cleared. I'd highly recommend this service to anyone looking to remove unwanted pests.

I wanted to take advantage of the City of Toronto credit towards purchasing and installing a back flow valve plus I suspected we had a line of lead pipe left between the city water shut off and our house. Master Valve came out and looked the job over and gave me a quote that was substantially lower than a second quote for replacement of the lead pipe. When the ground was open and the back flow valve was installed it turned out that the line leading from the city to the house was indeed lead. Master Valve went from the basement to the city valve and replaced the lead pipe with 3/4 inch copper. The work was done on time and the job was left clean. I'd highly recommend Master Valve for this type of work. They are specialists in below the ground plumbing.

We required a significant second floor renovation to a city home built around 1924. This included gutting the bathroom and rebuilding it with new tiling, plumbing, vanity and a glassed-in shower area. Work also involved redesigning a large, walk in closet, creating another new closet, new hardwood throughout, wall and ceiling repair and new flooring on main floor. 310 Reno came on time to the estimate and came back with a reasonable cost for the whole work. I liked their Home Stars reviews and the estimate so we agreed to the work. It was expected to take a couple of months and they were on time with completion. Work on the job was also steady. They did not leave us to work on other jobs. We always had someone around. A few extras were added and they were reasonable in price and incorporated them within their work and timeline. They helped with the design of both closets and with the bathroom and it turned out lovely. The tradesmen were very respectful, skilled and open to suggestions. Their work was solid and they cleaned up each day. During demolition there was considerable debris in our backyard and they had it all cleaned up within a day. The quality of the workmanship was excellent and the materials were also of high quality. As an example, they installed thick plywood underlay under the hardwood which also interlocked for strength. This served to strengthen the whole upper floor and there are no squeaks or movement anywhere. When I had any questions, Mike was always there to provide information and to arrange for materials and the labour. When you engage a contractor it's a significant relationship and we've been very happy with 310Reno, pricing, advice, quality of the work, cleanliness, and completion time. All promises were kept. We love living in this beautiful space now, and we have more functionality than before. I strongly recommend 310Reno for renovations.

I purchased our furnace from Cosmopolitan and they service it faithfully every year. Ather Hasan has been exceptional in the quality of his work and in explaining what is being done and why. He helped out with an airflow problem I was having and is always knowledgeable and courteous. The price is also quite reasonable. Highly recommend the company and technician.

Ather Hasan was sent to perform my annual furnace maintenance and he was very thorough and detailed, explaining the steps and looking very carefully for any problems associated with the motor that may be causing a disturbing whistle. One of the problems was a filter that was too dense which was changed and eliminated the noise. Mr. Hasan was respectful, courteous and well-informed. I would highly recommend his work and the company.

Professional roofers did a portion of my roof. There were very thorough. I wanted a larger vent and they happened to have a promotion on a solar powered vent which worked out perfectly. Diego came out to give me a quote for the work I needed to have done and about one week later everything was finished. On time and no mess.

Steven at McDonald forestry did a great job in handling our magnolia tree which had scale. He was on time, informative and thorough. He took his time with the pruning and spraying and is coming back next spring to inspect the tree. Great work, reliable and a reasonable price. It doesn't get better than this.
