James and especially the crew that worked on our backyard (Enrique, Jerry and Tyler) did a great job. Lots of up front consultation, ideas and flexibility from James before the project started. The crew worked hard at making sure the details, all the little things and even the clean up was done right. Carpenters Mike and Kevin also did a great job with the custom deck fence and stairs. There is a big difference between a good landscaping company and a great one. Astonia is a great one because everything they touched (natural stone stairs, stone deck, edging, ground leveling, pool deck integration, polymeric, electrical conduit, concrete pad and more) was done structurally well and looks great. We know they will stand behind their warranty and have done such solid work it will likely never be an issue. We got great a value and a great looking new stone back deck, flowing up the side and front entrance . Thanks guys

Great customer service and recommendations from George on the estimate answering all our questions, good help from Kyle setting up the schedule and impressed with Jacques and crew on the quality of the work and clean up of the work site. Competitive pricing ... don't want to skimp on the roof over your heads. Use these guys.

With a new house we relied on Jameson Pools to teach us about taking care of our new pool. What a God-send AMANDA and SCOTT were! The former owners had neglected maintenance so the consultation and work was appreciated.

We had a nose piece installed as part of Hardwood Flooring. That piece was fine and the cost was buried in the quote of the total Hardwood work. But three things we were not happy with; (1) Coey Stairs showed up at the house for measurements without an appointment ... which would have been okay if had it been our house, but the house belonged to the seller for another 2 weeks and we were embarassed when the seller told us the story, (2) when the work was done, Coey Stairs we very difficult and inflexible with painters in the house the same day, (3) we got a quote for stairs re-finish and the whole 'attitude' was apparent ... it helped us make the decision not to use Coey Stairs and probably saved us $1000 in the end.

Lowe Painting did a small job for us with some stairs detailing (spindles, risers, trim) and touch-up on a few walls. Asking for the small extra jobs was painless. In fact we know consider Lowe Painting for any futures job because price is reasonable, quality of work is excellent and the consultation on 'what to do next' or 'how to fix other renos problems' was greatly appreciated. Great job Chris the painter and thanks Craig for the great advice.

Highland Heating was recommended so we asked them to quote on furnace and A/C install. Nice folk and okay quote ... by the time we had gone through 4 quotes we knew more about what the project and could look back on the quote and consultation from Highland Heating as being average. Price for the work was reasonable, just wanted a better comfort of how they would do the install. We ended up spending more money with another company but felt better about the end product and value.

Jeff Page did our initial EcoEnergy Assessment. Friendly, fast and very good at his job. Best part was his willingness to chat, answer questions and give some recommendations on contractors to contact (without being too pushy on any particular contractor). Thanks Jeff!

You pay a premium of 10-20% relative to some other places ... but you get professional service, professional measurement and quote (without surprise extras later) and professional install and the peace of mind that the flooring will last for years. We highly recommend.

We've had the pleasure of Suzie's help on staging our old home for sale and design ideas for the new home. She made a difference in how our home presented for sale (*read that as $$$ more in sell price) and we've have been very happy with her ideas and help on the new home. She has creative ideas and a flare for sophisticated looks without big $$$ ... but she is a pleasure to work giving her recommendations and help without imposing on our ability to choose.

I'm happy with the final product; chimney seal to side of house properly done and no potential for water causing problems. But it took me noticing the job was only 3/4 done. A call to Contex was received politely and a worker sent out to finish the job. Quality of work great ... but as with most contractors, you have to check the work and ask questions if you are unsatisfied.
