This is the third time we've had our home inspection completed by Phil Acker and Randy. They're extremely professional and very quick with producing the report. They are very thorough when it comes to the inspection. We're glad to have used this service a third time.

We contacted Phil Acker because of raving recommendations in our neighborhood and also the recommendations of friends that used Phil. We used Phil for our 30 day inspection and our 1 year inspection. The inspection was thorough both times. We were blown away by how little we knew about our house! The inspection was thorough. The conversation friendly. Phil or Randy didn't mind me tagging along and asking questions, in fact I got the impression they enjoyed educating me as a homeowner. The report and follow-up process with Tarion was easy to understand. Once the inspection was complete, and the builder came to fix the issues, two of the issues became contentious. One was securing a bath tub in place and the other regarding an unsupported door sill in our walkout basement. I contacted Phil's office by phone and Phil responded in a timely manner for both issues. I was able to get one resolved. The other, the builder didn't budge, so Phil requested contacting the manufacturer. Despite having already been paid for the work, Phil didn't hesitate to answer questions after the inspection and didn't hesitate following up with the manufacturer to make sure our issues were resolved. I have nothing but great things to say about Phil and Randy. If you decide to choose them, I haven't come across anyone that's been disappointed with their services.

A group of us got together to try to get eaves done for all our houses together. Not only was Maize the most most responsive in getting back to us (thank you Raymond!), they were also the most competitive. Despite being the most cost effective, the work delivered was quality. I had made a request to Raymond that I'd like to get pictures of the roof taken before work started (minor roof damage), and he and the crew more than willingly obliged. Pictures were delivered within a day of having the work completed. The crew was very friendly during the install. Raymond showed up after the install to make sure we were satisfied. Since sodding and grading haven't been completed yet, he offered to come back once that was complete if there were any adjustments needed to the downspouts. All in all, a very positive experience. I would definitely recommend Maize when considering having your eaves done.

From the get go, Granstone gave us excellent service. Hayley helped us choose the right colors for our new home at price points we were comfortable with. Our home had not yet been built, when we finalized granite with Granstone, but with the various cabinets and tiles they had, we were able to at least piece together somewhat of a mental image of what the finished product would look like. Despite being one of the most cost-effective quotes we received, there seemed to be no sacrifice in the quality of workmanship. In fact, despite our plans not fitting completely on one slab (we didn't know when we bought the slab, since our house hadn't been built yet), Granstone pieced together additional slabs they had laying around to work perfectly with our finished product. Measurements were taken with top of the line measuring tools (thanks Solo!) and Jimmy and Solo did a phenomenal job with the installation as well. Thanks Granstone for delivering a quality product to us. We wouldn't hesitate in recommending Granstone to any of our friends and family.
