Our wall oven broke so I contacted Best Appliance Repairs. Eric responded right away and answered all my questions. He arrived as scheduled the following day. He quickly identified the issue and repaired the oven. I would not hesitate to recommend Best Appliance Repairs to anyone.

We have hired All Wildlife Removal twice now - first for problems with red squirrels/mice getting into the roof of our cabana room in our backyard and then for an issue with raccoons living under our deck and causing damage to our hot tub. On both occasions, Paul arrived quickly to assess what the problem was, gave us his quote (which he did on the spot) and then sent a crew quickly to resolve the issues. His crews (different ones for each job) were polite, arrived on time, and even had the courtesy to call me to let me know when to expect them to arrive, something I greatly appreciate as a stay-at-home Mom who has to be in and out at different times during the day to accommodate my kids' schedules. Except for the fact that critters can no longer get into our cabana room or under the deck, we'd never know they had been here as our yard was left neat and tidy after they completed the work. We would not hesitate to recommend All Wildlife to anyone. You cannot go wrong.

I was extremely happy with the work provided by Duct Cleaning Specialists. I booked an appointment between 1:00-2:00, and Jonathan had the courtesy to call me at 1:00 to let me know he and Chris were running late as he didn't want me to sit at home waiting for them. As a stay-at-home Mom with limited windows of opportunity to take care of things during the day, I really appreciated this call. After the cleaning was done, I used my dryer, which had been taking 2 or more hours to dry clothes, and everything was dry in 40 minutes. I clearly should have had done this months ago. Duct Cleaning Specialists also had the most reasonable price and the best reviews on Homestars.

We hired Curbz to totally redo our backyard (new deck, fences, patio stones, hot tub, pergola, artificial turf, etc.) after reading all the great reviews the company got on the Homestars' website and getting a glowing reference from a friend. We can't say enough good things about Ian and his crew. Ian always arrived for meetings with us exactly when he said he would. He and his designer made great suggestions and helped us tweak our original plan to make our yard even better than we hoped. His crew worked unbelievably hard and were very respectful of the fact we have young kids around. They always left the job site neat and tidy at the end of the day. They were wonderful in dealing with our neighbours, as well. Ian came by once or twice a day to make sure all was well with the project. The guys were all easygoing about any changes we wanted as the project progressed. I would not hesitate to recommend Ian and his Curbz staff to anyone.

My husband and I met with Dean Jackson after reading all the fantastic 10-star reviews he has on Home Stars. He listened to what we had in mind for built-in cabinets and a mini-bar for our basement, and made excellent suggestions to improve the design from there. His quote was competitive, and the quality of work in his portfoliio was far superior to that of the other contractors with whom we met. Dean shows up when he says he will, and delivers on timelines as promised. When we emailed him with a design change we thought of well into the process and apologized for not thinking of it sooner, Dean's response was "My job is simply to help you realize your vision for this room, and I consider it a pleasure". He tweaked his design as we asked and we could not be happier with the end result. We will definitely be working with Dean on upcoming projects and wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone.
