I hired Siding Vancouver to come and replace about 50 sq ft of rotten cedar shingles on the side of my house. Chris, Stefan and Martin really helped me out on this project. I had another contractor lined up but they dropped out at the last minute. Chris came to my house the same day I called and was very good at listening to my needs. Stefan arrived the next week and began the work. The scope quickly evolved when it became apparent that all the cedar shingles on my house needed to be replaced due to age and weathering. Stefan brought in more people and they carefully removed and replaced all the cedar siding. The level of craftsmanship was excellent and I am very happy with the end result. Every shingle had to be hand placed and many had to be hand cut to fit complex corners, etc. The project took nearly a month, and the scope did get bigger as more problems were discovered. Towards the end, Martin arrived and rebuilt my back steps. I wanted the design of the new steps to be as close as possible to the old design. Martin perfectly duplicated everything. Overall, Siding Vancouver were very flexible in adapting to my constantly changing needs. They worked hard and stayed focused on the job for as long as it took, even though it was a last minute contract and much more work than everyone expected. Their workers are friendly, polite, and take great pride in their work. I am very grateful to them for helping me out in a difficult situation.

I am happy to recommend Long Life. We needed all the windows in our house replaced (15 in total). Plus the sliding glass door to our back deck. We interviewed 6 companies in total. Our sales rep at Long Life was the owner of the company. We decided to hire Long Life because the sales process was excellent, because we really liked the Vinyltek windows being offered, and because we wanted excellent craftsmanship during the install. We spent a lot of time talking to different companies, visiting different showrooms, examining the products being offered and doing online research. Vinyltek is not the cheapest product, but since this was going to be a disruptive experience for us we wanted something that would last a very long time. On their first visit to our house Long Life immediately put us at ease. They had already inspected the house before the meeting. They were well prepared and knowledgeable. Most importantly they listened. It was not a sales pitch. They were focused on giving us exactly the solution we needed and made several changes to the specifications before we were happy. Types of trim, types of openings, and types of glass were all adjusted to suite our evolving needs. The install process was impressive. The team was extremely efficient, worked hard and knew exactly what they were doing. The level of craftsmanship was excellent. Window renovations are not a simple task. In order for the end solution to be perfect there needs to be very high attention to detail. Long Life delivered. It took them about 4 days to install and finish 15 windows and the door. The foreman was very good. In addition to managing a several people and a complex process, he was good at answering our questions and adjusting the finishing work to our needs. His team were all professional, friendly and took care of our possessions and furnishings. The finishing work was perfect and we were pleased with the end result. They also did the windows in our basement suite which was occupied by tenants at the time and there were no complaints at all from our tenants. We have enjoyed our new windows tremendously. Vinyltek is a good manufacturer. Both Vinyltek and Long Life provide excellent post-install customer service. 6 months later we are still very happy and feel we made a good decision to go with Long Life and Vinyltek.

I was very happy with this company. I needed a new roof for my residential home on the west side. Justin did an excellent job of listening to my needs, making suggestions and revising the quote. He was far more responsive than the other firms I spoke with. When it came to the actual work, Roger oversaw the project very diligently and everything ran smoothly. The crew worked exceedingly hard and took great care. One year on I am still extremely satisfied with the results. It was a big investment and I feel I received good value for money.
