This was our 3rd project with Vitor from Voxel Builds (see previous reviews). When we were ready to build our dream house there was no question who we'd use. When you invest your entire life's savings into a project, there's several factors you need from a contractor... 1. The quality of the craftsmanship. 2. Someone you can trust, as there will always be surprises and you need to know you're not being taken advantage of. 3. Someone you can work with, as it's a true partnership. 4. Someone who's motivated to get the job done in a timely manor. Victor and his team are 10/10 in all these categories. He's been working with his guys for many years (sometimes decades) and you can see the mutual respect. Vitor is a hands on guy who'll be onsite ensuring the project is done to the highest standards every step of the way. He's always willing to have you involved and educate you through the process, which I appreciated. What does all this equate to? This is our second project with Vitor (Voxel Builds). We previously did the first floor renovation, which Vitor knocked out of the park. The level of detail and thought that went into the layout of the tiles was truly impressive. The craftsmanship is always top notch, and that's important with tilling/bathrooms. Additionally, we were working with a limited budget, and in a HUGE rush to get the renovation completed, as we purchased another house and had to get this one listed FAST. Vitor really came through for us with prioritizing the project, getting it done lightning fast, while not compromising on quality. He's also great with suggestions on how to install and procure materials to save money. Be sure to ask him about his preferred vendors that will pass on the discount! The house sold for record numbers in the area. We purchased the property for $761,000 in 2017 - after Vitor's renovations we sold it for $1.18M in 2020! This profit allowed us to purchase a teardown bungalow in a beautiful neighborhood in Etobicoke, and of course, we're only trusting Vitor with this project. Never any hidden fees, or gouging after the fact. We don't need to price him out. And we always know we're getting a terrific price. I've been told, by people in the know, that we have to name our first born Vitor, and they're probably right. What's more, my kitchen manufacturer, who does extremely high end homes, was so impressed with Vitor that they have since worked on many projects together. What can I say, Eno is the man! I visited several highly recommended kitchen builders and they all thought I was either crazy or just too challenging. The minute I pitched my ideas to Eno I knew he was the one. He genuinely got excited with me and really wanted to do the project. What a team we made. Even my general contractor (Voxel Builds - best of homestars 2014) was so impressed with Eno that he will be using him moving forward. Eno really is a guy who stands behind his work and word. Even though surprises kept coming up, Eno always stood behind his original quote and made it happen. Turned large 3,000 square foot home into giant open concept with dream kitchen! This involved significant structural work, including 3 giant steel beams weighing over 5k pounds. No other contractor could have done this! Vitor has the utmost integrity, which is extremely important when looking for the right partner. Regularly went above and beyond and met the tight timeline.
