Project completed fine, follow up very poor
Three years ago Brian installed a deck for us and added two outdoor outlets. This project was fine. In late June the two outlets stopped working. I sent a note to Brian on Homestars' site on roughly July 3, 16, 30. My husband left him a voice mail in late July. We did not get Any response. I called in early August and he accidentally picked up the phone. I explained our issue and he said he'd be over to check it out (Brian happens to live 3 minutes from our home). My husband was home all day and said Brian never showed up or called. I left a message with Brian Tuesday, August 15 saying we would be available all Friday if he would come over. No voice mail. In the meantime, friends of our encountered the same issue, called their electrician and he gave them a couple of tips to try. The tip worked. We tried it and it worked. Simple issue that could be resolved over the phone - find the correct outlet with a reset button and push it in. Such a simple fix that would have made Brian a hero to us. Instead, we are left with a bad taste about this. UPDATE: Aug 18 early afternoon Brian dropped by but we had already resolved with an electrician's advice.
