Dryer Needed Fixing - NOT RECOMMENDED
I would strongly recommend that you not use this company. My dryer was not drying so I called Speedy Appliance on Saturday. They did a great job in responding quickly to my call and sent a service person over to my house Sunday morning. When the dryer was looked over, the service person told me that it was going to require a new heating element. The problem was that they didn't have the part and that they would most likely get it in on the following days with a cost of $350 (no breakdown, just the service person phoning someone and the other person on the line dictating the price, a bit sketchy). Also, when the service person was looking at my dryer he told me that the housing also needed to be replaced not just the coil and when asked how much that would cost he told me an additional $50. I then told him that things were getting pretty expensive and might not go ahead, possibly look at getting a new dryer then, and all of a sudden it was no longer $50 extra dollars (sketchy again). They didn't get the heating element part till Wednesday and couldn't get it installed for me until Thursday (Not that "speedy"). There were a few other things that made this company untrustworthy such as not giving me an invoice until I phoned the manager, giving me a hard time to verify the part was actually from a genuine Samsung distributor, lastly when I tried reaching them on Wednesday evening on their website it says that there are 3 technicians in the area (when you click on the link it just directs you to their main office phone # and so no technicians are actually not in my area). Overall, not a good experience. I would look to another company if requiring help.

We did everything correct in this situation, we provided you the part number for the element for you to shop around. After the first visit we didn't even charge a service call and waited for you to decide. The parts cost was 162.00 and labor was 180.00. It took a little longer because we had to order the original OEM part instead of the knock of parts you were looking at online. We replied back to your emails and phone conversations promptly and with correct information and gave you the option to shop around. Very sad you feel this way but some clients are impossible to please.
