I just had Jason come over to quote the insulation of my attic in my 1960's home. Unfortunately, due to mold, he is not able to do the work. But here is the best part; Jason still took the time to educate me. Jason gave me a report on what he saw up there; bathroom venting should be remedied, new baffles were required, no vapour barrier. Jason told me where the mold was and its severity. He advised that mold remediation would be required and what he thought it may cost. He suggested an air quality test to ensure that the remediation work was done properly. We talked about the difference between blown vs spray foam insulation, their the value for money. Jason clearly knows his business and his honesty is brilliant.
