Maret and her team did a post-renovation cleaning for me of a larger condo unit. If you have read the rest of the reviews here, you already know that Maret's team is more thorough than the average cleaner. Maret's service comes at a premium cost but I would recommend this service as worthwhile for all of the ways that this company shines aside from their cleaning ability: 1. Maret is professional. She responds in a timely manner, she follows up and she showed up on time to start the job. 2. Maret's entire team was respectful and I would feel comfortable having them in my home even after furniture and personal items are moved in. Additionally, they all seemed to have a very kind and positive energy. THEY offered me coffee and sandwiches whenever they had a break. 3. Maret displayed honesty in her business dealings. The time spent on the job was less than the hours quoted and she adjusted the invoice accordingly. Additionally, she did not ask me for payment at the end of the service because her first concern was that I be satisfied before payment. She only took payment when I offered to pay. 4. The team was flexible. They had the difficult task of working around unplanned visits by several trades who were still finishing up work in the condo. It was not ideal but they did not make it a problem - they just worked with the situation to achieve the best outcome. 5. Maret attended on my job personally to ensure that it was completed in a timely and organized manner. The ladies were all assigned a section of the condo to work on and while some were supervisors to keep things organized and flowing, EVERYONE was working hard. You won't be paying for anyone to stand around on the job. 6. Maret was respectful of condo rules in a building with several restrictions on entry and noise. She did not make any restrictions an issue and made sure that her team complied. Thank you Maret and team for all of your help, enthusiasm and good work! You made my pre-moving efforts less stressful than they certainly could have been!

Job involved changing 8 locks to Mul T Lock system and installation of further security devices on doors. I was pleased with the work completed and the level of customer service delivered. I was also comfortable having the installer, John, in my home - he was professional and respectful. John arrived ready to get to work immediately. He laid out his floor tarps to place his tools. He worked quickly but without compromise to a high standard of finishing. He adjusted the doors so that they would close better and any door hardware (that was not part of the installation) that was not quite straight. Further, he persisted in getting rid of squeaking hinges on the front door until it was gone. While he did not have to do anything but install the locks, John did extra and it was obvious that he takes pride in his work. This was partly evident in the fact that he cleaned up as he progressed through the job. The salesperson, Brian, also stopped by during the installation to confirm that the job was going well. One of the door safety devices I had ordered would have compromised the aesthetic of the door and moulding and John and Brian advised me as such so that I could choose to install a (less expensive) alternate device. They could have just installed the device I ordered and made more money but this company appears interested in the best interest of the client and long term relationships. There are many people who can install locks but if you are looking for a service oriented company then I have no hesitation in recommending Protection Plus.

This project involved installation of a ceiling light, placing outdoor lights on timers and installation of GFCI outlets. Trini Electric's strength is in its dependability and responsiveness. More often that not contractors do not return calls, do not show up when they say they will or fail to correct errors that arise once they have been paid. Trini Electric's service is on the opposite end of that spectrum and thus, stands out. My experience was that: 1. To give the quote Kuam from Trini Electric visited the property to review the project. He called during that day to tell me when he would arrive and also when he was on his way from another job. 2. When I had to postpone the project for personal reasons, Kuam was understanding and agreed to reschedule to a future date. 3. Kuam was available to discuss light fixtures before the project started to ensure that I chose one of suitable weight etc. 4. On my request to re-schedule, Kuam scheduled my project early. On the scheduled day, he called when he was on his way. 5. Kuam called a day after the project was done to ensure that I had no questions or concerns about the job. When he did not reach me he called again the next day. This was particularly because the timers could not be checked until 24 hours after installation. (They did work) There are likely many electricians who can perform satisfactory electrical work. Trini Electric is one of them. However, I would recommend Trini Electric to someone who who is trying to distinguish between various electricians and values dependability and responsive service.
