We had our back door replaced recently and our phantom screen that we purchased in 2003 had to go. It would no longer fit out bigger door opening. Plus it was 18 years old - although there was nothing wrong with it. We have always loved phantom screens for how discreet they look. We were not disappointed when the new screen was installed. The new screen looks discrete but beautiful and it has a new and improved locking system . This is a great improvement. The phantom screen lets the air in without taking away from the beauty of our new back door. We did have a bit of a challenge getting in touch with someone at the dealership and after that it did take 3 weeks to get someone to our house. Once the measurements were completed, it was another 6 weeks before it was installed. I guess they are very busy. It was worth the wait. I love everything that it adds to our home

Over 10 years ago, Home Decor Window & Door Centre redid our front door and a sliding patio door. We were very happy with the service and quality. Our door still looks great 10 years later. Our dryer has not been drying well for about a year. I would try and clean out the vent opening outside the house but it didn't help. I just didn't feel good about the dryer and once in awhile I would hear news stories about fires caused by dryers. One day when I was reading the Thornhill Liberal, I saw a Dryer Vent Wizard ad. I knew this was the service I was looking for. But what I didn't know was how good this service actually was. Tyler called ahead of the appointment to ask if he could come early. He showed up shortly after with a pair of booties to cover his shoes so as not to ruin our floor. He then inspected the situation. He opened up the dryer to the motor and showed us that the area was full of lint. He also told us that the foil venting we had was not up to code and could cause a fire. Tyler explained everything to us, took pictures before and after as well as tested air flow at various points during his cleaning. When he was finished, the inside of our dryer around the motor looked brand new. The air flow doubled and the new venting line was a smaller more compact tubing which allowed the dryer to be pushed closer to the wall giving the laundry room a better esthetic. This was the icing on cake. I would have been happy even if the dryer wasn't pushed back but wow! Tyler is very professional, providing great information. He really knows his stuff!! I quickly recommended him to my mom who used his service a few days later with the same great results. I can't say enough good things about Tyler and the Dryer Vent Wizard. This was the best money spent. I truly have peace of mind. More people need to be made aware of the service that the Dryer Vent Wizard provides BEFORE they start having a problem with their dryer that could lead to a fire. I highly recommend the Dryer Vent Wizard! I am so glad I had this service done. I wish I had done it earlier! The cost will be offset by the energy saved by a more efficient dryer!

We hired Ideal Stairs after finding them on Home Star. We read some of the reviews and thought we would give them a call. Mesh was great to deal with. He came to see us the next day. We appreciated this as it showed his interest in having our business. Before coming to our house, he phoned and asked some questions about what we were looking for. The job consisted of removing the carpet off our stairs, sanding and staining, replacing the risers, changing the posts and spindles. We were impressed when he showed up prepared with examples of spindles and wood colour as well as the many pictures to show us on his iPad. We received a quote from him pretty quickly as well. We did take some time to think through what we wanted to do and Mesh was patient answering questions we had for him quickly and following up with us by phone. Once we made our decision, Mesh was also able to accommodate the start date we requested. The crew he sent in were excellent. They were polite, courteous and accommodating. They knew our concern about keeping the hardwood floors clean and each day they lined everything with heavy cardboard and cloth. We were also concerned about not having a railing at night for my daughter and dogs. Each night before they left, they made a makeshift railing out of spindles and plastic wrap. It was very impressive and gratefully appreciated. Also, each night, they cleaned up as much as they could minimizing the dust and making it easy for us to get around the work. Their workmanship was top notch. The stairs were beautifully sanded and stained, the trim painted very nicely and the spindles installed with great care. We cannot find any fault in the workmanship. The job was done within one week as promised. We highly recommend Ideal Stairs for their workmanship, attention to detail and professionalism. Great company. Thanks Mesh.

We had been contemplating redoing our entire house (upstairs, all bedrooms and main floor) in hardwood for a long time. We needed to work with someone who could help us visualize what we wanted. Richard Barclay was the right guy. He listened and guided us even providing us with large samples to help us make our decision. He answered all our questions and made sure he understood what we were looking for. We ordered Preverco Maple Hardwood Floors and they are beautiful. Vitali & Andrew were the installers. They were amazing!!! The job was big as they had to remove laminate flooring that had been laid over old hardwood which they had to remove as well. They also had to raise the railing upstairs in order to accommodate a smooth finish. They also had to work around built in cabinetry and an already renovated kitchen. Nothing was a problem for them and they finished the job in 7 days. They did a great job and left the house each day very clean. They also moved our big furniture around. The installation of the new floor is immaculate and it looks wonderful. We are extremely happy with the work that they did. We originally thought that installing hardwood floors would be a huge headache and a big disruption in our lives but Richard, Vitali and Andrew made it painless. The results are magnificent and I would recommend these gentlemen without any hesitation.

I found Home Decor on the internet. I was looking to have a double front door entry changed to a single door with side windows. But I wanted something special. They got my attention for two reasons. They were prompt in answering my enquiry email plus they told me that what I wanted to do was no problem. On their website, it says "your style, your way". That's exactly what I got. My double doors were made into a single door with side windows that were 2/3 frosted (so no one can see in)and the bottom 1/3 was left clear for my pups to see the world. The door is beautiful. The dogs are happy. I am happy. The installation went smoothly. The installers were efficient, professional and neat. After service was great too. I am really please the new doors from Home Decor.
