Have contacted Marlad for multiple projects over the years and they've never failed our expectations. Always quick to provide a quote and schedule based on our availability. The crew always showed up on time and did a great job. We had some shingles fly off and discovered that there were gaps in the roof from the previous work. Marlad team was quick to come and tarp it as we were heading into winter. When we got our roof replaced, it had started to get a little choppy but they were able to lay down the ice sheets and get the work done as scheduled. We also replaced our roof skylight with them and that experience was a good one too.

Garage spring snapped in the evening and needed to be replaced. Contacted Nick at Royal Garage Doors and he was quick to respond. We set up an appointment for the very next morning and he was right on time. After reviewing the issue, he provided a quote and fixed the problem right away. He also checked other parts of the garage door to make sure other problems were not creeping in. Very satisfied with the service and will definitely recommend.

We connected with Mark, through a referral, in Feb & discussed options to change our 30+ year old doors (front & back). He gave us some ideas & worked with us to give our color options & style. Once we placed the order, we were updated regularly on the status. Installation was done end of March & one installer took a day to complete the task. He was very meticulous about his work & cleaned as he completed a section. Mark stopped by on the day of installation to inspect & help out. Overall, good price & speedy installation by Mark & his team. Will keep them in mind when we need to get more work done - skylight etc.

Contacted a few companies via Homestars for gutter cleaning in September and got a quick response from Al of PHAT Window cleaning. Al and his team came over the week after and thoroughly cleaned my gutters and also showed pictures of before and after. They then cleaned all the dirt in large garbage bags and left the place clean. I recommended them to a colleague at work and he also had a good experience with the company.

I contacted Diego and set up an appointment for cleaning. I had counted the vents and returns in my house and their rate seemed to be the best for the job. The 2 man team arrived promptly on the day of the appointment and started setting up the unit. One member walked down to the furnace while the other started prepping the vents for cleaning. It took them about 2-2.5 hours to get the whole house cleaned vent by vent (issues with air pressure as it was too cold) and then the main ducts were cleaned a few times to ensure that it was cleaned. We had 4 hookups thanks to the layout and that cost us more (it was however made clear at the time of reservation and there were no surprises) All in all, a quick & dirty process that required vacuuming the house after they left. Will definitely recommend Diego & his team to my friends.

I found a leak in my basement and traced it all the way to a leaky vent pipe flashing on the roof. In addition to this, I was also missing a portion of the fascia. I contacted a few companies on Homestars and Artur (High Skillz Roofing) was the first to contact me. As I needed to take a day off work to get this done, we set up a date and time. He came over, took a look and provided me with a quote. Once we finalized on the rate, he went up the roof & fixed the issues. He provided me with photos of the work and overall, it was easy & quick dealing with him. When we need to get our roof replaced in the summer, High Skillz Roofing will definitely be on the list.
