FOR THREE MONTHS I've been trying to resolve my window blinds order. On Jan. 30, 2017, I tried to cancel two of the 9 blinds ordered. My in-store consultant was on holiday; I sent him a text and went into the store, with no results. The installer, John, came to install the 7 blinds and took back the two blinds as the cancellation did not go through despite my efforts at the store and my texts to the designer. When the designer, Avi, returned, I told Avi I'd like to replace the two blinds taken back to the factory and he said "no problem", I'll take care of it." Two months later, March 29th, I call Avi and he's done nothing. He sends me back to the store to get the sales rep name as I had only the ID # of the sales associate who tried to help me cancel my blinds on Feb. 1. I call two weeks later and still no action. I went into the store and spoke to Nick in the Decor Section and he contacted Vince Carruto, regional manager for decor. Vince said he'd resolve the issue within the next few days. That was FOUR WEEKS AGO. I've left four messages for Vince; no response. I've asked for an email update and left my email: NO RESPONSE. I've called Nick back at the store; NO RESPONSE. It's now May 18th. NOONE HAS TAKEN THE TIME TO RESOLVE THIS. EVERYONE PASSES THE RESPONSIBILITY TO SOMEONE ELSE. IN THE MEANTIME, THEY HAVE HELD UP MY REFUND FOR ALMOST FOUR MONTHS!!! Beware dealing with this company as the customer gets lost and has to do so much work to try to get real action. Promises, yes. Resolution, no. Still working on it....

PEG prides itself for installing IKEA cupboards. PEG's team came four times to install the kitchen at our house. The first time, they could not level the cupboards, so left early, leaving the site full of scattered debris and garbage. They returned a week later and still could not solve the problem. Two weeks later they returned with a manager and left STILL NOT ABLE TO LEVEL THE CUPBOARDS. On the fourth visit, a month later, they returned. It was only with the help of my contractor, who was supposed to be doing other work, that they were able to finish the job. Now our kitchen was delayed by a MONTH. PEG offered partial compensation for the delay, but would not waive payment even though the delay meant an additional month of rent in a condo and storage fees. As the company came well-recommended by my designer, the disappointment at their response has had an impact on our family as we await the completion of the kitchen. The delay by PEG means we are in the basement, meanwhile, using the nook there until the counter is installed and we have a sink. Very little responsibility taken on by PEG for this mess.

Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback about our services. We are so sorry that you are disappointed with our services. Kitchen renovations can be chaotic even at the best of times which is why we always encourage our customers to follow the steps of our renovation process thoroughly. As mentioned to you in our corresponding emails, your designer omitted the first step which was having PEG take measurements of your kitchen. As explained, measurements are not just for the height and width of the walls but we also check if the walls are square and perpendicular. In your case, we would have been able to advise your contractor and designer on what needed to be done to prepare your walls for your installation as your walls are curved and also not perpendicular.
We acknowledge, with regret, that your kitchen installation took longer than anticipated which is why we refunded half of the cost of your installation. And though there was a delay, we have completed your kitchen installation as contracted.
At PEG, we take responsibility for correcting any errors that may occur during installation and we take pride in the fact that we have never walked away from a job, including yours, in the 27 years that we have been in business.

Okay, these guys are awesome! At a most stressful time, Javier oversaw all the details needed to make it run smoothly and professionally. A thorough inventory of the house's items and estimate of time helped to determine how many men were needed for the move. These guys work as a team! Seven of them showed up on time and ready to move, with Jonathan at the helm coordinating the various tasks and trouble-shooting any snags quickly. They worked so efficiently I had trouble packing up the few remaining items before they scooped them away. Really positive experience. They were careful, helpful, neat, and timely. I'd recommend them to my mother (and she's the most difficult person I know :)
