Extremely happy with the service from Nick at Mr. Black Topp. I am a regular Homestars user and spent a lot of time reviewing driveway contractor reviews. Based on the reviews, I contacted a few companies and Nick was the only one to promptly get back to me. He was prompt, polite, easy to work with and the quality of the work was excellent. I have to admit that I never got to meet him face to face, but my 70 year mother and wife did on separate occasions and both had nothing but positive things to say of him. That speaks volumes to me. Nick helped fix a grading issue I had with my shared driveway, where all the water was running towards my house. It is 110% fixed to my satisfaction and my only regret was that I didn't do it sooner! Service, quality and price were all excellent. I will definitely be contacting Nick first when it comes to redoing my entire driveway. I highly recommend Mr. Black Topp without reservation. Thank you so much Nick for your help.

We were referred to Loumerico by our real estate agent. This is the second job he did for us. The first refinishing lasted a year, and then Lou came back to address some areas that were flaking off. In fairness, he put a lot of time into doing the tub this time. However, the quality of the work is very poor. There were many elevated bumps in the finish that are underneath the finish, and the coating around the drain hole was not done very well. Now, four months later the finish is already flaking off (again) in other areas. We're not interested in following up with him, as last time he only grudgingly repaired the tub after accusing us of damaging the tub by dropping things (?), and is he is consistently rude and condescending to my wife. Thanks but no thanks.

I found Generations flooring after doing careful research online and through Homestars regarding vinyl plank installation. I am extremely pleased with the total experience from Shawn and the team and would highly recommend them to anyone. Shawn's team did a fantastic job installing Karndean flooring in our basement, including prepping the subfloor in some particularly rough and uneven areas. He was extremely polite, knowledgeable, kept in regular contact, and worked hard to meet our project timelines. On site, the team did a great job keeping the area clean and they were extremely polite and trustworthy. The quality of work is outstanding and was very well priced. I would not hesitate to recommend Generations Flooring to anyone and I will definitely be contacting them for any future work I have.

I was extremely pleased with my experience with Belyea Brothers. My neighbour recommended them to me, as he has been a customer for years. During the consultation phase, David was extremely helpful, knowledgeable and responsive to my questions. With his suggestions, we arrived at a very efficient and cost effective solution to my needs. The scheduling phase of the work was very accomodating to my needs which was greatly appreciated as we had a baby on the way. The installation team were very kind, friendly and polite. My wife and I were very comfortable having them in our home. They ensured the worksite was cleaned at the end of each day and the final layout looks *great*. David also supported a few questions I had during installation to ensure my needs were met. Overall, I am very happy with Belyea Brothers, and they have definitely earned my repeat business. HVAC is a major system in anyone's home and it is important to have confidence in the company you hire. I would recommend Belyea Brother's without a moment's hesitation.

I was very happy with the service and support provided by Matt and his team. I had them board, tape and mud my kitchen and side entrance to the house. It was not an easy job, with 21 pot lights in kitchen dining area alone and a recessed beam to work around (from a removed load bearing wall). The work was done ahead of schedule, looks good and Matt was very easy to work with. All concerns were addressed to my satisfaction and I really appreciate that his quote included priming the walls afterwards. I will definitely be contacting Matt for my basement drywall work.

I hired Anray to remove a load bearing wall between the kitchen and dining room, replacing it with a flush mounted steel beam. The work was done with a permit and stamped structural engineer's drawings. The work was done and inspected and I though all was fine, until I began to notice cracks between the ceiling and walls in the rooms directly above the kitchen. Fortunately, another contractor who was in doing framing noticed what had happened and pointed it out to me. First, the joist hangers were not tight against the joists, as they should be to bear the load. They are supposed to be mounted tight against the joist and glued in place with contruction glue. That is what my framing guy noticed right off the bat. Then, as we were re-hanging the joists, we found that *many* of the joists were cut too short, so that only a small portion of the actual joist was in contact with the joist hanger. In many cases, the joists were literally being held up by nails! What is particularly troubling about this is that, not only was this not raised to me, or corrected in any manner, they actually went to the trouble of putting pieces of scrap wood into the gap TO HIDE THE FACT JOIST HAD BEEN CUT TOO SHORT!!! Once the joist hanger was in place, it was very hard to tell anything was wrong. To be honest, Ray and the guys were really nice and I wish I didn't have to raise this. But, nice guys or not, the fact of the matter is that they screwed up, didn't raise it, tried to hide it, and walked away. I'm frustrated at the inspector for not noticing this, but that is not the main issue here. There is nothing more important than a house's structure and these guys compromised the structural integrity of my house. Sure they offer a warranty on their work, but based on what they did, I have not interest in letting them touch my house again. I am very happy that Homestars is available so that I can share this with future renovators. Don't take my word for it, look at the pictures, and then never let these guys touch your house.

I was very happy with the service provided by Ricardo and the team. Having done a lot of research beforehand on boilers, I selected Green House from a number of contractors who have experience installing Vitodens boilder. Ricardo was extremely helpful during the consultation. He answered all my questions and took the time to explain some different approaches to me. One thing that distinguished him from the rest is that he did not "upsell" me on extra equipment that other companies were recommending I buy as well. The installation team was great. They were punctual, friendly, patient, and cleaned up well afterwards. I'm a real stickler for installation detail and they did a great job. The few concerns I had with equipment layout were immediately addressed to my complete satsifaction. Ricardo also came by afterwards to inspect the work to make sure it was up to his standards. Overall, an excellent upgrade. Good products, good service, good expertise and a good price. What more can you ask for? I've been renovating for a year and a half and this was one of the best contracts let so far. I will be calling them for the next phase of my renos.

I had an excellent experience with this company. Pre-work communication was very friendly and supportive, with an excellent response time. Site work was excellent, exactly what I was looking for: on-time, clean concise work. Jerry walked through everything he had done, provided a lot of useful information and suggestions. The price was also very reasonable for the work done. I've been through a number of electrical contractors over the past year and I am definitely going to be contacting Electropro as my first call next time. Jerry is a real professional. Highly recommended.
