We found Boss leather at the Canada Home Show and we were really impressed with the level of attention and care put in our first discussion. Since that first talk, we never regretted our decision to use Boss leather for our sofa and loveseat. We were able to custom select (design, colour, stitching, legs, and support) everything at a fraction of the cost at the store (less than half price). The quality is phenomenal and we love the fact they have a lifetime warranty on the furniture stuffing. They took a lot of care in delivering them and they were delivered as promised on time! I highly recommend them!

I found Capitol on homestars.ca and their price was good. I called and the lady was polite and promised me that the team would be able to take out all the stains I had described. ‘Great!’ I thought. They arrived promptly and I described the stains to be cleaned. The gentleman says “I can’t guarantee them.” I was shocked… the only reason why I called used them is from their promise to remove them. There was a large disconnect between the phone staff and the cleaning team. Also, I was concerned they did not use clean work boots while walking into my house. I had to clean after they left because their boots brought in leaves and dirt onto my stairway carpet and wood floor hallways. Though they were very quick, I was rather disappointed that most stains stayed. The floor dried quickly as promised and in a last ditch attempt, I bought a Bissell chemical cleaner from Walmart to try to remove the stains. To my surprise, I was able to remove the stains in one corner! Sure it took nearly 20 minutes of scrubbing and the cleaner was $9 but it came out. Overall, I was disappointed in the empty promise from the customer service staff, unclean work boots, and the general inconsistent info from the company. Everyone was always polite and friendly but if I knew they couldn’t clean the stains in the first place, I would have never hired them to start.

With the recommendations from this website, we used Norstars movers and we were impressed with their efficiency, speed, and overall care for our items. We moved from a Mississauga condo to Brampton and there wasn't a single issue. The 2 movers were professional and informed us of all their decisions as they went along. The only little mention I would have is the lack of the plastic walking liners they could of used to prevent their shoes from going onto the floors. Their shoes didn't leave a single mark but it would have been a nice to have. Overall, they were a great value considering other movers were attempting to charge nearly 20% more for the same service and we would recommend them to our friends.

This is our 2nd time using Nortown in nearly 6 months and we decided to use them again because of our first experience. The 2nd experience was not as good. The promise of using mats and padding on the floors in the new house was never followed. Considering we have wood floors everywhere, we were really concerned about scratches. Also, this moving team was not as good as the first ones and as they were moving our furniture into the new house, I saw them hold shelving units/drawers upside down over their heads to move items over railings. When I finally started to unpack, I had a mess to deal with since all the items were thrown about inside. Overall, there was a decent amount of positives and same number of negatives. They were very prompt, quick, and priced very reasonably but they were not keeping their promises, had a lack of attention to detail, and it felt a bit careless.
