This is my second home. Not overly impressed. Design is good, but quality of finishing work is pathetic! There was paint all over everything but the walls. We had to get the walls (I would say repainted, but that would mean they were painted in the first) redone because you could see where they barely did one coat of paint. Somehow there was paint on every floor and bathroom fixture in the house. It has been hard to get responses for things needing to be fixed. There is a gap between the roof and the wall of the fireplace cantilever. I have been trying get it repaired for a year. When our one year inspection was done, they repeatedly informed me they had already fixed the roof, and it was documented as so. I took this individual out and showed them it had definitely not been fixed. It was all of a sudden, "oh it says here they are GOING to fix it." They then informed me there would be no need to investigate to see if there was any moisture or damage inside. Just like there was no need to go see if had in fact been fixed. I attached temporary stairs to the deck nailer before I built a deck. It's a good thing I did, because the nailer ripped off the house. It was fasted with staples. There are holes in baseboards where they didn't fill in the nail holes, visibly separating and uneven moldings around the windows. They said they will do noting about any of it. Terrible grouting, don't seal the grout around the tiles behind any sinks, or the baseboards by tubs or showers. The trades must be shorted in their pay, because it looks like they don't care. Please take a look at the picture and let me know if this is an acceptable condition for a roof to be in.
