Swat responded within 24 hours and removed Mama raccoon and her 5 babies from a box in my garage. He was polite and explained everything as he did it.

He went into the attic where a racoon had been. It was not there when he came and he installed a one-way door.

The animals are not always present upon attic inspections however this does not mean they are not there. It is always a good idea to error on the side of caution so not prevent any further damage.
