Terrible Exchange/Return Policy
I purchased a Fridge from CAS. When I was in the store and explained my concern that the fridge may not fit, the salesperson stated that it would fit if I got the model with the handle on the right side. I did not want that however I purchased it as she said I could exchange it as the only way to tell if it would fit is when they delivered it. What she failed to tell me is that if I plugged it in, that would void the possibility to exchange it. I called her 20 minutes after delivery to see how I can exchange however she was on vacation. So I went to the store the next day and was advised to call the customer service after sales department. They refused to exchange since I had plugged it in already but I had it for only 1 day! Had I known not to plug it in as this would cancel the exchange policy, I would not have done so. I even offered to pay a restocking fee but they still said no. This was a very disappointing experience for me and will never shop at CAS again. It is best to buy from a retailer that had a better exchange/return policy. I need to purchase more appliances for my new condo and CAS is not where I will be shopping for it! Very disappointing experience.
