We hired Yuri to renovate our 1940s bathroom. His quote was reasonable and he stayed on budget and schedule. His workmanship was very professional and we love our new bathroom. Due to the small footprint of the bathroom, Yuri made some recommendations that really improved the space beyond our expectations (e.g. tiling all the walls; using chrome edging instead of wood trim around window and door; using a glass accent tile to break up the white subway tile pattern; and installing two pot lights perfectly positioned above the tub). He ensured that some minor wall damages in an adjacent room that were caused during the demolition were promptly fixed at no additional cost. His suggestions did not adversely affect our original budget. He really understood our aesthetic and worked to see our vision come to life. Every evening he cleaned up before leaving. He and his assistant were professional, friendly, punctual, worked hard and finished on schedule. His communication style is very direct and to the point. We really enjoy our new bathroom and the pleasant renovation experience. So without any hesitation, we would highly recommend Yuri!

Back in summer of 2015 I wanted my 20-year-old asphalt driveway and concert landing at the foot of my porch removed. Remo came by made some design suggestions. Later on, we wanted to asphalt edge to be lined with nice grey stone trim. Remo worked with us on the design of it. He helped us pick out the stone, although we went with a different colour from his suggestion. He was very accommodating of our changes. He made some suggestion on renovating an existing and delapidated wodden stairs for the back our house, which I thought was a good suggestion, and I arranged another contractor to work on that. His crew was punctual, hardworking and friendly. My wife and I love our new asphalt driveway, and our little stone landing at the foot of the porch stairs. Gives our home a nice curb appeal, which we really cherish every time we pull into our driveway. What I really liked about Remo was he didn't think of the just repaving the driveway, he really thought holistically and made some clever suggestions that today I look back and appreciate. We are glad we picked Remo and West York Paving to do our driveway reno.
