My 27 year old VanEE Trade 150 which I have run almost continuously for the past 7 years started screeching intermittently, so I suspected a motor bearing was giving way. Most contractors I called only offered to sell me a new unit, overselling improvements in technology. It's basically a fan with circuit board and some filters, so not sure how much more improvement there can be. Vittorio however prefered to try what I wanted: to fix or replace the motor. He scheduled a visit within a couple of days, and quickly removed the motor. Within 30 minutes he had a quote for a replacement, significantly less than what others had estimated. He however, was sure he could get it repaired at an even lower cost, and had done so by the same evening, when he returned and fitted it. I am very happy with his service, he is knowledgeable and very easy to talk with, and he explained what he intended to do at every stage. His pricing is transparent, and he certainly does not try to over sell. Very neat, tidy and diligent in his work. I would certainly recommend him.

It started with a hard-to-close faucet in the basement shower. Thought this was a simple DIY, until the shower handle would not come off. Ended up stripping the retaining screw, hack-sawing off the handle and still could not get it off. Enter Jonathan. He came in the same day for a look-see, gave me a good picture of what the situation could be, best case/worst case, and a quote. Turned out to be a horribly corroded handle which took three blades on a reciprocating saw and a huge effort to remove, but Jonathan did it carefully, and finally it came off, with no damage to the tile work or the valve. He fitted the new trim, cleaned up very well, fitted a couple of ball valves to allow the shower to be isolated, and left me with a re-caulked shower, a refitted spout and a one-year warranty. Most pleasant to deal with, very professional and I would recommend him and re-hire without any hesitation at all.

Mo was able to give a schedule very quickly and kept me informed when there was a slight delay in his arrival. After reconfirming my exact requirements, they worked out the best way to do the job, and were able to avoid cutting any holes in the drywall to draw the cable. They were quick, neat and reasonably priced. I would certainly hire them again. Very pleasant team.

I’d fitted a saddle valve to a whole house humidifier, and after a while it would not shut off, nor would the solenoid. I could replace the solenoid and live with it but decided to do a full job and got ExpressRooter in to replace with ball valve. Job was done to spec, neatly, cleanly and quickly. The customer service end was efficient, courteous and effective. I would definitely use them again.

The hiring process was simple and friendly. One call, appointment booked for the next morning, with a followup reminder and a call from the technician (Nick) when we was a few minutes away. Nick was on time, very helpful and professional, gave sensible advice and did not seek to hard sell anything. The job was done quickly, neatly and well. I'm not able to compare prices, but I feel we got good value.

Our furnace started short cycling on a Saturday, and would not come on. I called in to report the fault, and a service visit was scheduled for 4 hours later. The Technician (Ed) called about an hour earlier than the appointment time, and asked if he could come in earlier, as he had completed an earlier call sooner than scheduled. So he came, and quickly found that the furnace control board was on the blink. Fortunately, after a 5 minute rummage in his van he found a new replacement board, and replaced it. Got everything up and running within an hour. Most professional and friendly service. I was so impressed, I ended up buying plumbing protection from him as well. The total cost of the repair would have been $700, so this insurance has paid itself out for the next couple of years at least! Second visit from Enercare service (the first was for the annual maintenance), and both have been very pleasant experiences.

Imran was very, very professional. Right from the start, he quickly took my number and called me back as promised, we set up an appointment to clean 2 gas fireplaces for 3 days later. He actually called the next day advising that he had a client cancel and could come in immediately, if that worked for me, which it did. He was very organised, clean and methodical in how he went about his work. He explained everything he was doing, and informed us of what we needed to watch out for and how we could get more out of our equipment. A very pleasant interaction, and I would definitely call him back if required, and recommend him with no reservations.

This was our first renovation job in Canada, and Mike held our hand through it all. He was professional, flexible, quick to offer advice and options and very open. Mike was quick to respond to enquiries, provided and costed options accurately on the fly, and did a very thorough job. Martina, my wife, pays great attention to detail, and is not easy to please, but she was well satisfied with the work done. We created two bedrooms, replaced a carpeted floor with laminate, and re-did a basement bathroom. Mike made us feel very comfortable throughout the project, keeping us informed of what was going on, when sub-contractors were expected (they were all excellent too), and advising if anything would not go to plan, and what the alternatives were. I would recommend him very highly, and will certainly be a repeat customer when needed.

Have done over 15 moves in my life, this was one of the easiest. Arby responded to my email enquiry within minutes, and gave me all the information (plus advice and a welcome to Canada!) in that one call. A couple of emails to confirm date and time and we were good to go. The move itself was excellent, they were on time, well organised and equipped, and moved all our stuff into the new location within 4 hours, without a nick. The service was excellent, the admin was efficient, and the cost was reasonable and competitive - what more can one ask for?
