Thank you, Ryan
Thank you for your updated review 2022. Client satisfaction is very important to our reputation.
1. Job quote was provided to you on jan 16, You asked us to provide itemized quote then. We did 2 jobs with you in the past providing you “an all inclusive number”. We did explained to you why, because we are General Contractor company and we take all job and take a responsibility for it. After you request for detailed quote we send it to you. After receiving you did some modifications in the scope of work, we told you to meet at a new place to do the proper quote. Then you disappeared for almost 2 weeks. Then on feb 1 2022 you told us that you are ready to give us deposit and sign a contract , you asked us to exclude 3 more items from your quote, and stated that you need more job to be done by us, but you need to discuss with you designer.
2. As a company leader me ,Dmitri Rotari, I take responsibility for my employees to have a job(salary), we can not wait for you for almost 3 weeks, till you are browsing for a cheaper contractors(as I understood from your last email, who did provide you itemized quotes) or discussing our quote with your designer. We didnt sign no contract because of luck of proper scope of work from you, we didnt receive no deposit from you to book a start date with us. We even didnt know if you want to work with us after 2 weeks of silence.
3. “Aside from this new project, we eventually found issues with the quality of work in our current home, after 2 years- grout cracking between tiles, drywall cracking, paint peeling, etc. Moreover, during the project, while not mentioned in the original review, there were issues with attention to detail. For example, the Company would go ahead and determine the placement/orientation of items without asking for client input (i.e. orientation of tile, placement of plugs, lights, etc.). The backsplash in the kitchen is also sloppily cut, but patched with grout to make it appear clean. We would not recommend working with this Company.”
Sorry to hear this. We did sign a contract with you with a labour warranty, before first project with you. No phone calls were received from you during this period of time. We did one more job for you in autumn 2021, you asked us to help with flooding damage in your basement(current home). we did include you in our busy schedule, because of our relationship in the past . Nick came to you current home to estimate new project, no issues were transmitted to us. Then I (Dmitri) came to do the job in you current home, no issues regarding previous renovation, only happy faces.(I have prove of second job: invoice and bank deposit check).
And one more question: If we did a such a bad job previously(no communication and bad quality etc. - but we did a discussion and showing to you all of the progress during the project), why did you hire us for a second time and then want us to do a third job? Strange, right? smells like misinformation, or you just like bad jobs.
5. Summarizing: Dont blame us for your unprofessional behaviour, respect our time. No proper scope of work - no agreement and no proper quote. No proper quote - no contract. No deposit - no fixed start date. Easy explained to you. We are dealing with a lot of return clients like you, and we are working fair with everybody, first come - first serve.
Best regards,
Dmitri Rotari
