I recieved a call from Chris at Dryview an hour after leaving a message explaining that I needed their service. He appeared to be a nice guy and showed up on time. It took about an hour for him to remove the condensation from the 2 windows and he further explained that it may take 3-4 days for the interior of the window to dry entirely. I paid in cash and was given both a reciept and 10 year transferrable warrantly for the service. After about a week we noticed that not only were the windows still filled with condensation, but one of them had cracked during the drilling process. So I called and left a message asking for clarification on how long we should expect to wait before the windows would be ok as well as explaining that the window had been damaged (as a broken window was covered under the warrantly, I was not concerned). I was surprised that Chris did not call back as he phoned us back so quickly when we needed the service done but message after message was left over the next few weeks and finally we realised that he was not going to be calling back. Went os far as to look him up on the Better Business Bureau and am not surprised to see that he's had 16 complaints filed against him in the past 3 years, 9 of which were in the past 12 months. So clearly we're stuck with a useless warranty as well as the cost of replacing our window on our own. No other way to describe this experience other than terrible.

Having been turned away from another large company for not having a budget that was considered worthy of their time I was apprehensive when I skimmed through the beautiful Curbz website and almost didn't even call. But when I spoke with Ian and asked for an estimate I was pleasantly surprised with his great response. An appointment was made and he spent 45 minutes conducting an in person estimate. He made wonderful suggestions regarding stone work and never once tried to upsell us like the other companies did. He made us feel very comfortable with the money we were prepared to spend and was honest regarding his opinions and making sure we got what we wanted. The crew was extremely professional, reliable and couteous and the project was completed within the timeline promised. Clean up was thorough and the final project was gorgeous! We love our new walkway and have recieved a steady flow of compliments from friends and neighbours. We would absolutely recommend Curbz to anyone considering having work done to thier home.
