I recently purchased a front door with Buy Wise Windows and Doors. Replacing a front door is expensive. I have no issue with the service provided. I am very disappointed in the quality of the product and the information provided prior to purchasing the door. After the door was installed the inside door colour was noticeably different from the colour of the doors already in my home. When I pointed out the discrepancy, I was told the colour could have been matched prior to ordering the door, however, I was never given that option. The suggestion was that I have the inside of the door painted. I have looked into having this done and it will cost me an additional $500. I am also very disappointed with the door hardware. I asked prior to purchase about the quality of the door hardware and was assured that the quality was high. After installation I found the quality of the hardware to be mediocre at best. The door handle and the dead bolt are very loose and have a lot of play. I was told by Buy Wise that this is normal. I researched the product made by Eurotek and found that the hardware is in fact middle of the road quality and the main problem with Eurotek Hardware is that the handles break off. I was told someone would get back to me about the hardware but of course once the bill was paid, I have not heard from Buy Wise. I will be adding a large addition to my home this summer. I will not use Buy Wise to supply the windows and doors.

I have found air duct cleaning to be useless. This is only the second time I have ever had air ducts cleaned in my home, both times after renovation work. The work recently performed by Breathe Pure Air Inc. did absolutely nothing to change the level of dust coming through the air ducts. The only thing they managed to do was blow drywall dust all over my home. I had more cleaning to do after they left and drywall dust continued to blow out of the air ducts for many months after their supposed cleaning. Their vacuuming and air blowing did nothing to clean the air ducts. I will never again bother to have duct cleaning done in my home but if you must DO NOT use this company. A waste of time and money.

The designer was good but the cabinets are not exactly as designed. The installer did his best. The closets were heavy to lift. Two person install only one person sent. The upper cabinetry on one wall was not level and had to be positioned more than once creating many holes in the back of the cabinet. Is it secure? There are quite a few areas of damage to the walls. Small but I will have to repair the walls and touch up the paint. I waited 2 months for poor quality cabinetry. I wish I had gone a different route which would have given me the same result much faster and cheaper.

Maytag dispatched Phil of Appliance Wizards to my home to repair a washer under warranty. He was rude to my disabled Mother upon entering the home and did not repair the washer. He did not seem to know what to do or what to look for. In the strongest terms possible I DO NOT RECOMMEND Appliance Wizards.

The appropriate procedure to diagnosis water leakage on an appliance is to run the unit (on a diagnosis test if available on unit) with as many panels off as possible and observe and find the leak - repair accordingly. Our techs are trained not to take guesses and properly diagnose and find the problem. We ran through a test diagnosis on your machine and found no leak at the time. Throughout the entire visit - your disabled mother was resting in the living room area. We highly recommend that next time you book a service to be present so that you are able to observe what the technician has done and to discuss the issue to avoid any mis-communication.
