We had our 15- to 20-year-old gas boiler checked last year as part of regular maintenance. The 21-point check, as the company called it, took about 15 minutes. This year, we hired Vittorio to service the boiler, thinking he would do something similar. He took the boiler apart, found that the burners were seriously clogged. He cleaned and flushed out 15-to-20 years of dust and debris. He spent well over an hour on the job. I'm sure the boiler has never been this clean or worked as well. We are really grateful.

I went through a major kitchen renovation last year and dealt with many tradespeople. Honestly, Alex was exceptional. Not only did he do the job really well, but his price was more than fair and he paid attention to detail, which is really important to me. He also went beyond all expectations. For example, he resolved an unrelated electrical problem on his own accord and at no extra cost. He recommended approaches that were better than what the contractor had originally planned. He installed an extra outlet at no charge. He also did the job at the price we had agreed to initially; even though the job was bigger than he had anticipated. What's more, he provided all supplies, which made my life easier. He was here on time, every time. I could have had the general contractor do the electrical work but I wanted to make sure that it was done correctly, by someone with an expertise and who knows the code. Alex was that person. Moreover, he got the permit for the job and he's so well known to the inspector in this area that the inspection was done over the phone (the inspector just asked him what he'd done and felt no need to come out to inspect). If everyone I had dealt with had been as professional and good at what he did as Alex, my reno would have been a breeze!

I chose Alliance largely because of reviews on this site and I wasn't disappointed. First, Jozeph was here exactly on time when he came to see the job. You could tell he was experienced and confident in his work. He was friendly and lovely to deal with. The job went off without a hitch. Thanks, Jozeph.
