Install new windows, damaged siding
Disappointed with the company. I liked the owner, gave me a sense of confidence and reassured me regarding his bad reviews on Homestars. He was offering the windows I wanted for a reasonable price so I decided to go with it as I know better than trusting everything you read on the internet. Unfortunately, there are things you should trust. The windows and door were delivered late, but from previous experience, it seems to be a standard in this trade and it was still early in the season so I didn't get upset about it. Finally the installation got planned and executed at a great pace. Unfortunately I wasn't home that day. At the end of the job the installers told my wife everything was done with no issue, she checked but did not notice that they damaged the aluminum siding while installing one of the windows. We paid in full and that's when the company became deaf to us. When I got home, I noticed the siding had been damaged, a crack over 3 inches long. I immediately notified the office, sent an email with picture as requested, followed up several time via phone and email but the crack was never fixed. Initially Anthony tried to say they didn't do it but as there was no crack before and there is a crack now, he admitted they did it although trying to say it was previously hidden by excessive caulking, which is false. He kept saying he would call back but never would, so I followed up many times and he finally said he would send someone to do the repair the next week. It is now at least 4 months later and it's still not been fixed. I followed up again with no success so I'm giving up and will take care of the repair myself. At the end of the day, this company does siding too, they could have repaired the damage in an hour of work but instead, they tried to hide it, to pretend they didn't do it and finally let the issue die until I would give up. Obviously customer satisfaction is not a priority for them, only getting your money is a priority. Trust all the negative review on this website, Moncada is probably a good company if all goes well but at the slightest issue they will give you up and not do the slightest effort to fix it.
