This was our 4th project with Taras and Double T Contracting. As we have come to expect, the process was as smooth as ever and any issues that arose on site were sorted out collaboratively between us and the team. We are thrilled with the final product, and now have another family space, an additional beautiful full bathroom, a laundry room, and plenty of storage cabinets (toys/coats/boots/etc.). We have recommended Double T to many family and friends, and the outcome is always the same - Taras and his team make the whole process an absolute pleasure.

This was our third project with Taras, and every experience is just as good as the last. This time we did a full backyard renovation including a 13ft garage with loft space, new deck, porch roof, expanded basement entrance, and outdoor cabinetry for storage. Taras and his team were an absolute pleasure to see every day, and there were never any issues, even with countless changes on the fly (by me). The level of craftsmanship that Ivan and Dane brought to our backyard and garage project are unlike anything I’ve seen on an outdoor space before. They have such high standards and pride in what they build that even the most detail oriented person would be truly impressed. (I saw them shimming out cladding on our deck steps… finished carpentry on a deck!) It’s a joy to collaborate with Taras and his team, and they make renovation projects a breeze for any homeowner. I can say this with confidence as they have done projects for 4 of our friends, as well as my mother, and everyone has the same experience. Thanks again to Double T Contracting for our backyard oasis! Would never have been the same without you guys.

We were very happy with Alex and his team for our project. BSQ did the drawings for our garage, as well as the backyard design which entailed a new deck, expanded basement entrance, cabinetry, porch roof, hardscape, and planting plans. They were knowledgeable about the rules around building a garage, and took care of the permit process. Alex was very professional, responsive, and helpful throughout. I would not hesitate to recommend him to family and friends looking for the perfect balance between beautiful, thoughtful design, and practical advice with accurate architectural drawings.

This was our second project with Taras. As expected, he and his team were a real pleasure to work with again. Taras is always perfectly responsive, and it's invaluable to have his experience and common sensical advice. We were thrilled with the final product, as we were with the main floor renovation. Project finished on time and on budget.

I've used J CO 3 times in the past year. They are always extremely responsive and accommodating. Prices are very reasonable when compared to other competitors. Highly recommend using them for full service waste removal.

Taras and his team just finished our renovation on our house and we can't say enough about how incredible he is to work with. No one can believe how seamless the renovation was and how happy we were with all aspects, and this was in no small part because of Taras. For context, the scope of our project was a full main floor gut of a 120 year old Leslieville Victorian semi. We found Taras through Homestars, and met with him a few times before deciding. We got a good feeling from him but it was seeing his relationship and speaking with a former client that sealed the deal for us. I would recommend doing the same. As for the project, he wrapped up ahead of the schedule he promised, right on budget, and the workmanship far surpassed our expectations. I'm a very detail oriented person, and Taras, Terry and Mark would re-do things that I could see no problem with because they take such great pride in a perfect finished product. We had some very tricky aspects because of the age of our house, but they were always motivated by the challenge and never ever complained. They put a substantial amount of extra work and materials in to make sure our house was safe and the finishes were perfect, and there was never any fuss made about extra cost. Taras only does one job at a time, which means he is there in person, all day, every day. This is incredibly valuable for 2 reasons. It gave us great peace of mind knowing he would be there when any other trades or delivery people came through. He really took care of the house for us like it was his own. The other benefit is that he wants to finish the project on time as much as you do. He's very experienced so you can put stock in any timelines he gives you. Finally, and probably most importantly, Taras, Terry and Mark are some of the nicest guys I have ever met. They are extremely patient, honest, and genuine. I'm sure you'll be as thrilled as we were with the entire process and the finished product if you work with Double T.
