We hired G&G to lay our tiles for the backsplash in the kitchen of our new house. They did a very nice job and it was clean and efficient. They even picked up the tiles at the store for us so they were very helpful. They were very pleasant to work with so I showed them the basement. It was finished but the floor was just cement and we were looking to gain some headroom and lay carpet. They gave us good suggestions and removed the ceiling, cleaned up all the messy electrical work that lay beneath, (even called in an electrician at no extra cost), moved the ceiling up while installing nice, energy efficient pot lights. They also moved a wall and a drain and the heat vent. All was well discussed with us along the way. There were a few surprises and thanks to the fact that they know how to do it all (electrical/plumbing/cement/ walls/painting) it was not a problem. The job took a little longer than we expected (and we extended it into the hallway and included the painting) but they did a very thoughtful job and we feel that we can really trust the work. Gilles is very knowledgeable about all the above so he was able to give us suggestions. He is sincere and really takes pride in his work. If you are looking for something quick and dirty, he's not your guy but if you are looking to make a permanent, good quality change to your house that you will not regret, call Gail & Gilles. They are also good with dogs, we felt totally comfortable trusting them with our house and dog. We will definitely call them again! thanks so much, our basement looks great! (we got our carpet installed today).
