I hired Pesticon 8.5 months ago to eliminate my cockroach problem. I have a two story house with a basement apartment. Two kitchens and 4 bathrooms in total. The technician (Iftikhar) that came out to discuss the problem and spray was very good. He was very courteous, respectful, knowledgeable, etc. They offered a 6 month warranty and had some good reviews on Homestars, so I decided to go with them. We went through all the preparation (empty cupboards under sinks, remove everything from the counters, etc.). They sprayed and said that in the next few weeks we should see a lot of activity because the spray causes them to come out, but they should be gone in 6 weeks. Well the 6 week mark came and we still had them. They honoured their guarantee and came back to spray. We went through all the preparation once again. The same thing was expressed to us; the next two-three weeks we will see a lot of them and they will be gone in 6 weeks. Well this then turned into a rinse and repeat situation where they were coming out every 6 weeks to respray because they could not get rid of them. The spraying escalated to a point where they fogged most of the areas in the house and we had to be out for 4-5hours. Alas, we still have them. I don't want to overly criticize the company, because Iftikhar was so good and I know that these are hard to get rid of, but they were not able to solve our problem. The warranty is up and we are having to search for another company that can resolve this issue. The two stars represent Iftikhar's efforts and the fact they honoured their warranty otherwise I would give them 0 starts for their ability to resolve our problem.

We are doing a huge renovation on our home. We are adding a garage with a TV room and bedroom over top of it as well as turning our basement into a 2-bedroom basement apartment. Because of this we needed a significant amount of new duct work to provide adequate heating and cooling to the new addition and make sure that the basement was not freezing like it was before. It is amazing how good duct work can improve the temperature of a basement. Chris and his team were simply amazing. Chris came as a referral from one of my other contractors (Tom) and I was not disappointed. He was the best. He was flexible, helped resolve problems, explained everything to me and they always finished the job earlier than expected. They were a great bunch of guys to talk and joke with as well, which made the experience amazing. We cannot say enough about how happy we are with them. If you need new duct work, Chris is your man. You will not be disappointed. Thanks Chris

The team at EcoStar Insulation were a great bunch of guys. We were doing a very big renovation of our house. We added a garage with a TV room and bedroom over top of it. The job consisted of the following; • Removing the insulation in the attic of existing part of the house • Spray insulation of the ductwork in the attic • New blow-in insulation in the existing house and addition • Spray insulation of all the walls and ceiling in the garage • Spray insulation of 3 walls in the TV room and bedroom above the garage • Spay insulation of all the ductwork in the garage This was no small job, but the teams that we had here doing this were excellent. They were always here on time, cleaned up after themselves and were great to talk and joke with. Bernardo, the project manager, was excellent at explaining the entire job to me and telling me exactly what they would be doing. We cannot say enough about these guys, because they also had to put up with some unforeseen delays, which caused them to break up the job into chunks. We really appreciated their flexibility in completing our job. Thanks for the great work!

We are very excited about our new basement egress windows. We are turning our basement into a 2-bedroom basement apartment, as such we needed 2 egress windows to make it a legal apartment. Konstantin was great at recommending what we needed and what it would look like. Konstantin and his team were amazing. They did such a great job. They showed up on time, they did the job as described and promised, and they cleaned up after themselves. We cannot say enough about them. These windows have added a significant amount of light to the basement and the team positioned the big window where the kitchen would be in such a way so that I could extend the quartz countertop into the windowsill area to create an extra 10” of counter space and provide the illusion of it being an island. We also frosted the bedroom window so that the tenant would have their privacy and not have to see us on the back deck. Again, truly amazing. Thanks Konstantin.

I truly do not know where to begin with how ebullient we are with the outcome of the stucco on our house. Sean and his team are amazing and complete experts in the craft of stuccoing a home. As you can see from the before and after pictures it is stunning. Sean was a great help when it came to choosing what colours we should use, what moulding, and banding would work best with the current design and shape of the house. For this renovation we completely redid the entire house because it would be too difficult to match the current colour. We redid all the window, door and band mouldings. Put new stucco on the addition and re-layered the existing house with a fresh coat of stucco to match the colour of the addition. Sean was correcting mistakes that were made in the existing stucco as he redid that portion of the house. He went completely above and beyond the call of duty on this job. They were working hard to get it done and worked over the Christmas holidays to take advantage of the good weather we had this year. Again, we cannot say enough about Sean and his team. If you want it done and done right, you hire these guys. If not, consider hiring them to correct the mistakes of the other stucco company you just hired. Thank you, Sean, for everything!!!

Richard and his team are amazing. I hired them to move my A/C from one side of the house to the other as well as install a new and bigger furnace to accommodate the renovation that we are undertaking. His expert advice helped us make a decision as to what the size of the furnace should be as well as how we can move all the vents and A/C. Richard also made a couple of recommendations for other people that could help in other areas of the renovation and I must say I have not been disappointed. All the people that I have worked with and that Richard has recommend have been top quality and expert craftsmen in their respective fields. I/We would highly recommend hiring Richard and his Team.

The service technician called me about 20mins before he arrived. He was pleasant and courteous. When he was done he took the time to talk to me about the health of my furnace, some of the regular maintenance I should be doing and answered my questions about the longevity of my furnace.
