This is my second review for Aaron and Silverback Electric. Aaron has been my trusted go-to guy for any electrical work I've needed over the past 5 years. He completely rewired my 1970s townhouse previously, and recently helped me with a very challenging installation and wiring of a heavy chandelier 20ft above ground at my new home. Besides the great work Aaron and his team does, what I value the most is his honesty. He always goes the extra mile to make sure you're satisfied with the work. Thanks again Aaron!

Sofen was polite, professional and friendly right from the first phone discussion with him. He was able to get my preferred garage opener for a great price, and squeezed me in for a Saturday morning installation. He went above and beyond and executed a smooth installation, and even backed his work up with a 3 year warranty. Very reasonable installation price. Highly recommended!

Micah Jansson provided general contracting services during renovations to my townhouse. From start to finish, Michah proved to be much more than a contractor – he was a trusted partner who played an integral role in the success of my project. Micah’s skill level and construction expertise is second to none – I came to rely on his fine touch with an exacting eye for detail. An example of this skill was his work filling and blending a gap in some wood flooring, hand-painting wood grain to blend the wood fill patch to create a seamless effect. His specialties also include tilework and waterproofing, as he has had extensive training and practice building tile saunas in his home of Finland. During my project, Micah also worked wonders with drywall and smoothing wall surfaces with drywall mudding and painting techniques, amongst other work. Most importantly, Micah is someone I can to put my whole and complete trust in. He is not only a highly skilled worker, he is honest, and completely transparent and open in how he does his work – a quality that is exceedingly hard to find in these days of fly-by-night construction outfits. He always keeps his word and makes it a priority to be there for his clients. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Micah for any of your construction needs, large or small, and hope that I can use him for a future kitchen and bathroom renovation.

I initially called Aaron to quote on a complete electrical system replacement in my townhouse. The building had aluminum wiring from the 1970s, and it needed to go. Right from the get-go, I knew that I was in good hands. Aaron is one of the most honest, down to earth and reasonable trades I've had the pleasure of working with. From the initial visit to scope out the work, to the communication during the quoting process, right through to the electrical system removal and replacement, I have had nothing but an amazing experience. My project wasn't easy - but Aaron and his expert team of electricians handled it all deftly. Since the original electrical system replacement, Aaron's number is the first one I call if I need any electrical work done in my home. He's the kind of guy who is always there for you. Can't recommend him enough!

Ben and his team at Drips and Drains helped us replumb our aging townhouse in Vancouver. They came highly recommended from a neighbor who called them in to fix another plumber's poor work. From start to finish, Ben, his office staff, and his excellent crew of plumbers hit that perfect balance between providing top notch, highly professional service, while still retaining that helpful, friendly can-do attitude of a small, family run local business (which they are). It's the small details that count. The job site was always left clean afterwards, and little details like securing a wobbly drain pipe and putting seismic strapping around a hot water tank, were thoughtfully recommended. All work and invoicing was honest, and Ben and his crew took the time to explain and communicate all work that was taking place. I highly recommend Ben and his team for all your plumbing services and would definitely call Drips and Drains again for future work.

Purchased a new over the range microwave, and was nervous about installing it (as it potentially involved changing the mounting plate and drilling new holes into my existing cabinetry). Am so thankful we called Brodie from Capstone. Brodie was on time, knew exactly what to do, and went about doing it in such a courteous, friendly way. You can tell Brodie has over 20 years experience doing this. Who knew getting a microwave installed could be such a pleasant experience! Highly recommend Capstone, and Brodie, for any future appliance installation, no matter how big or small.
