Most of my home is stucco except for 25 feet of the west facing wall. This brick is at least 80 years and was never maintained by previous owners. The exterior layer of a double brick wall had severe spalling, and areas of missing brick and mortar. A&A came up with a solution that involved parging, tuckpointing, replacing 120 of the worst bricks and then using liquid stone in the colour of my choice to seal the entire wall. They were the only company to offer a choice between stucco and liquid stone. Now about the company: Marko came out to assess the scope of work and provide a quote. Marko was very thoughtful and took great care to address concerns, given the challenges presented by very difficult neighbours and only 26 inches of space between homes. The quote was accurate - no surprises. Eduardo and his crew - William, Fernando, Jesus, were a very friendly, hard-working team who took great care to protect the working space and cleaned up at the end of every day. The quality of their workmanship was top notch. A&A offers other services both in GTA and Hamilton and I've already booked another job with them scheduled for later in September 2023. I highly recommend A&A.

We don't have a backyard and our side patio becomes unbearably hot in the summer until around 3 PM. The first covid-19 summer made us realize we needed a solution to maximize our usage. After some research, I decided to connect with Rolltec and they delivered as promised - on time and according to our order. Nick, our sales rep, was really attentive and helpful. He explained the various options, what he felt worked best for sizing and what to expect with the awning's performance. The installation crew were friendly, patient and took great care. The crew also took a lot of pride in their work and even commented that the awning is beautiful and the perfect choice for the space. Outstanding quality. We needed a very large, old tree pruned that was impacting 3 properties. In December 2020, a friend of mine referred us to Tree Doctors and very grateful for this referral. Tree Doctors has more than delivered on services. Glen arrived on site before the holidays to examine the tree and a quote was provided in a very timely manner with a very clearly defined scope of work and options. Tree Doctors informed me of their schedule - which was also honoured. The job was completed mid-January 2021. Sean and his team arrived within the scheduled window and they were simply amazing. As they neared completion, Sean asked to me to view the tree and see if there's any other trimming I'd like them to consider. The tree received a wonderful, much needed haircut. Pruned to perfection and beautifully shaped evenly all around. I 100% recommend Tree Doctors and would work with them again without hesitation. In fact, I'm already scanning the other services they provide.

We first hired Muro Electric to install landscape wire during our exterior renovation. They were very helpful and had great ideas on how to enhance a small outdoor space with lighting. We're still finalizing our outdoor space and are excited to bring them back in the future to light it up. Recently, we gave them a call to relocate a dining chandelier and add some outlets. The relocation had some unexpected challenges but Muro Electric more than delivered, all the while maintaining professionalism. Drop cloths were used to protect the wood floors and the work area was properly cleaned up. Always polite and works with care. If you're looking for a master licensed electrician - Muro Electric is the way to go!

So excited to have our recycle and garbage bins hidden by the attractive shed offered by Bin Solutions. When I first inquired about timing and shed options, the owner Zion responded quickly and the whole process took less than 2 weeks. Carpenter Aviram re-confirmed delivery day and time and arrived on schedule. He offered solid advice on-site regarding the pros and cons of location options of the shed and went over care and maintenance details with me before leaving the site. Installation took less than an hour and Aviram's work and professionalism is outstanding. I've already recommended them to friends here in Toronto and as far as Bolton. Two thumbs up!

Our home is about a hundred years old - double brick covered with the plaster style stucco that was in need of repair. We decided to update the whole home and hired Besnik to install 3-inch foam stucco (EIFS) with some window & door trim. The process was very straight forward from start to finish. Besnik provided a fair quote that was consistent with the final invoice. His team is very experienced and everyone, including Besnik was accommodating and helpful. Besnik made helpful suggestions regarding the moulding and went the extra mile to make sure we were happy with everything. His team was respectful and did their best to ensure minimal issues with the neighbours. They did a great job at securing the job site as well as the final clean up - which isn't easy with foam stucco. No complaints from the neighbours once we were done. We're still in the midst of our exterior reno (stone pavers and metal railing to come) so once the house is 100% done, I'll come back in a few weeks and upload before and after pics. We're already receiving so many compliments from people in the neighbourhood. We're thrilled with the results. Thanks Besnik and crew!

We're renovating the exterior of our home and we needed extensive demolition done prior to the reno. I received 2 quotes and Accu-Star's quote was more than competitive. Once we met Nev and understood the level of knowledge and experience behind him, we knew we would be in good hands. The scope of work included taking down an exterior stair structure, a portico, and large retaining walls that over-took the property. Two soil and two concrete bins later our property is 95% ready to go. Our windows and doors are installed, the perimeter is being waterproofed and the stucco contractor will begin in a couple of week. Once this is done, we're bringing Nev's team back to excavate 10 inches deeper so that the patio stones and interlocking brick will be levelled with the adjacent neighbour's asphalt driveway.

I found maple flooring in a high polished gray stain by Model Inc (style name: 1969) that I loved but the original retailer where I came across the sample was quite unprofessional so I went home and researched the flooring online and found the manufacturer which provided me with a dealer list. I called Alliance to find out if they carried the wood and immediately Lehal was very helpful and provided a lot of information on the phone. It was at least a 15 minute call. This attentiveness compelled to go to the store where I also received great customer service. I proceeded with the order for 900 square feet of material, plus 16 feet of stair nosing. Everything was great except for the stair nosing that I received. It turns out that the manufacturer, Model Inc. (PG Flooring) outsources this particular item and has no control over quality control. Lehal and Tina were very patient and went to great lengths to ensure I'd be taken care of and after receiving 4 bad sets of nosing, we finally decided to take the refund instead. Through Alliance, I was then able to get solid raw maple nosing, which will now be stained to match my new stairs, instead of matching the flooring. In the end, I now have a beautiful product that is beautifully installed. Had I gone with the previous retailer, I'm quite certain I would not be a satisfied customer so once again - always go with your gut and don't settle. If you find the service is poor from the moment you walk in - just walk out! As soon as the reno is fully done, I'll be sending Alliance a photo of the end result! It's my first move and I was feeling a little anxious about the process as it's not your typical home to home move. My future home is going to undergo extensive renovation so I needed to put my things in storage. After much research I discovered the portable container concept but I still needed movers. I hired Rent-a-Son to load my mobile container and although I only had 3 large pieces to move, plus the coffee table, 7-pc dining set and a mattress, the pieces I do own are quite substantial (in weight and quality) that I didn't feel comfortable relying on family and friends to assit with them. For me, professional was the only way to go and Rent-a-Son exceeded my expectations in their movers' work ethic and super personalities. I hired them for 2 hours with the anticipation of having to finish loading lighter items myself for an additional hour but not only did they get these items loaded, they were done 10 minutes early! So not only was my moving experience painless, but it was actually pleasant! This gal is still grinning and feeling an immense sense of achievement...lol...!! Already looking forward to hiring them for the container unload months from now!!
