Our wood-burning fireplace was due for a cleaning and we decided to go with Pro Handy Solutions based on their extensive photographs available on Instagram. They were thorough and worked cleanly and provided some excellent advise on both operating the fireplace as well as made recommendations (and even gave a demonstration) of how to properly clear soot stains off of the stone surrounding the opening. We were extremely happy with the service and would absolutely recommend them to anyone. Thanks guys, it was a pleasure.

We needed the 240v stove outlet moved over and down in anticipation of a new store being delivered. The job was done quickly and cleanly and I would definitely recommend Cleve for any electrical work required (and we'd certainly use him again without hesitation).

A sewer collapse just before the pandemic left us with big holes in our basement and washroom floor for almost 3 years. The job to repair all of this wasn't easy since none of the existing ceramic tile could be matched and the previous tile installation in the washroom wasn't straight. Andrew provided a lot of advice prior to job being started and we were well prepared when he arrived. Unfortunately, the non-straight tile work in the washroom wasn't known until Andrew attempted to install the replacement tile we had chosen that was just slightly too big. Andrew provided guidance on an alternative plan and we ended up running out to quickly purchase smaller tiles that could be cut to produce a double-row instead of a single-row and, frankly, we like the end result better. As well, Andrew had to level the giant hole in the main room floor with concrete to prepare it for having vinyl flooring installed. Andrew worked his magic to ensure that the flooring we purchased (that he thought was going to come up a bit short) was cut in a way that he barely had any left over after the job was done and he wouldn't have to come back. Andrew is a great guy, works clean, and is utterly professional. We'd definitely use him again and would have no hesitation recommending him to anyone else.

We had to have part of our basement floor dug up to replace the sewer line which required our carpet to be rolled up. Based on the HomeStars reviews we contacted Victorious to come and put the carpet back. The job was completed perfectly, and both the pre- and post-followup was professional and timely. Thanks guys!

Last September when Mr. Rooter installed a backwater valve for us they noted a root intrusion problem farther down the line. We weren't prepared to do the repair at the time as it involved having to have our neighbor's driveway partially dug up, so it was agreed that we'd try and hold out until spring. A few days ago the root intrusion caused a sewage backup in our basement and left us no choice. Once again, Mr. Rooter impressed us by immediately dispatching Phil to come on site, quickly assessing the situation, and scheduling the repair to be done the next day. Not only did they once again impress me with their speed but they went the extra mile to connect the new repair with the backwater valve (a lot of additional work they did for free) installed in September to insure we would not incur the added cost of having to put a liner in between the new repair and the backwater valve. And once again, you can barely tell there was ever a hole dug in our yard. I cannot recommend this company enough, after two experiences with them we wouldn't consider using anyone else. And an extra special thanks to Phil for being so friendly and thoughtful and to the best dig crew I've ever seen. Kudos Mr. Rooter!

A slow basement drain and a minor sewage backup led us to go looking for someone to unclog/scope the drain. A quick call to Mr. Rooter and Travis was on the scene in just a few hours. He quickly assessed that we had a broken trap outside the house that was likely original (from the late 1940's). Upon his recommendation we replaced the trap with a backwater valve to help reduce the chances of our basement backing up with sewage from the city line. The crew that ended up doing the digging in our front yard did an amazing job and, now that the job is finished, the only way you can really tell we had any work done is there's a slight hump as the dirt has not settled yet and some cut lines in the sod. They even redistributed the decorative wood chips along the front of our house so it looks undisturbed. Everyone involved in the project was professional, courteous, and very fast (the entire job was finished in 2 days). It even turned out there was a rebate application available for the hardware we had installed and Travis came armed with the application so all we had to do was fill in some basic information and mail it along with a copy of the invoice. We are completely satisfied and cannot recommend this team of people enough.
