I bought from GHJ when I first moved into my condo - prices were good, so was the service. 3 years later, i moved into my house..prices still good but after service was terrible. Store rep Rocky was nice - even remembered my name the second time...but when i went to arrange for delivery/pick my wife and I were met with terribly rude staff. The front line 9sales) great - the back line (office admin - shipping, payment, etc...) were terrible, so much so, I refuse to go by anything unless they have it there on the floor to pick up and leave. Fool me once, shame on yo, fool me twice.... Main point: If they have it there...buy it, prices are good...if they don't and you have to wait for it...you can find it some where else, same price, better all-around service

I have used HS for finding a contractor in the past but the last one really screwed us over. I was very hesitant to use this site again but (read reviews) I found a great carpet guy and blinds guy via homestars, so I thought I would try again. After interviewing about 5 that I picked through HS, I still couldn't find one that I felt I could trust. Luckily a friend referred us to Peter from CSR Carpentry & Custom Remodelling and after calling all his references and looking at his work, (and this is the most imprtant point) my wife really liked him. I have not regretted this decision. He is not the least expensive nor the most, he was a week late on his promise to complete the job but it went smoothly and looks great, there was no difficulty in getting a hold of him and he was very helpful and patience with us. Why are there not more contractors like him? Any ways, if you are looking for someone who you can trust, with good work ethics, knowledgable and a greta end product, I'd suggest you give Peter a call to see what he can do for you. (I'll post some after pictures in a few days)

What I like about Mark was his attention to detail. The original owners of the house dented the hardwood stairs when they were moving out and before mark started to remove our old carpet, he emailed us pictures to show these dents. Also after the carpet was installed, I asked about some gaps against the baseboards and out came his iphone to show me before and after - he made it better than what the original owners had. I like when they can anticipate my concerns!!! Any ways, I highly recommend his service.

Pigeon guard came and installed a netting at my house and removed the pigeons. There was a miscommunication with the cleaning services, as I thought I was getting cleaning and netting installed. Rocco was very professional and responded to my concern and resolved my issue fairly and made me a "happy customer."

Just bought a house in the beaches and the previous owner didnt keep anything clean. Their central vac was just disgusting...luckily there was this little vacuum store right by my house. Walked in and talked to Max who hooked me up with a very nice central vac for a reasonable price. He came to my house and hooked it up and was very personably and friendly. I'm glad to have found a nice vacuum guy so close to my new house!! thanks max!

My blinds in my condo were in terrible shape and we getting ready to sell it. My friends had used Allure for their house blinds and had strongly recommended them. We called Ryan and he came down and gave us a quote. My friends were right, and we went with Ryan not because of price but because we felt comfortable with him. My wife LOVED the installer. We were worried that the blinds may not fit in the elevator (we had one with avry long section) but the installer said he would walk all 19th floors just to get it to our condo. Luckily for him, it just fit with a bit of bending.... Any ways, we would like to thank Ryan and his team...we sold our condo and off to our new house and if we need new blinds...we won't even think of anyone else but Allure to install it!!!
