Anna at Avenue and Eglinton

The Cutting Edge fixed a leak caused by somebody else, super fast and for free, and were really nice while doing it. The Cutting Edge replaced our roof last year and we were really impressed, so when I found some black mould growing inside a closet I thought it was the siding... but the siding guy said it was the roof, and in the end it turned out that pest control people we'd had in to deal with squirrels had put 2 tiny holes in the roof. Even though it was totally not their fault, The Cutting Edge showed up within 2 hours, popped up there and fixed it right away.

I had GTA spray for carpenter ants. GTA answered the phone right away, arranged to come the next morning, phoned before arrival to confirm, came punctually, started immediately, worked quickly, and charged a reasonable amount. Troy was super-friendly and enthusiastic, talked about carpenter ants and other pests, and was really careful and respectful about the house. It's just nice to be able to hire people who are pleasant and professional.

Mayday came immediately, went straight to work, immediately identified the problem, which was roots completely (and I mean TOTALLY) blocking 7 feet of pipe, and fixed it right there for a really reasonable price. It was a horrible blockage and now it's completely fixed. Sorry I was too distracted at the beginning to remember the excellent, friendly and professional guy's name who did the work. He took his time to do things properly and cleared out the roots, after which the plumbing drained better than it has for a long time. He was really great at keeping us well informed of what was going on at all points, and letting us know what we had to do next (regarding calling the city etc.).
