We recently moved locally from Oakville to Hamilton using Tender Touch. The move itself went ok at best. The crew showed up 3 hours late which required the move to drag on into a second day. Once we started unpacking a few days later, we noticed that some clothes had just been thrown into the wardrobe boxes and some smelled like cigarette smoke. However, our main complaint is with their total lack of customer service in general. We were double charged for the packing of our kitchen, so that the final bill was considerably higher than their estimate for this service. I managed to get someone named Charlie on the phone once over 2 weeks ago who promised to resolve our issue. Since then I have tried many times to call and never anyone answers, no matter which voice mail option I try. The moving consultant never answers his cell or land line either and does not return phone calls or emails.

What could this company do to improve their services?

Hello Bernd, we appreciate your feedback even not so positive ones. This is the first I have heard of this issue as I get sent emails from homestars on all reviews. I have called you yesterday Aug.18,2015 to discuss your concerns and have made this my highest priority to get to the bottom of this. I have already addressed your concerns with the staff and have our IT Dept looking into the phone systems/messages. I will contact you directly as discussed yesterday and a I will find a resolution that will be satisfactory & show you that customer service is our ultimate goal. I understand the overall move went well but the estimating portion and not getting a follow up from claims dept wasn't so good. Your feedback will only help us to improve.
