Pavel from Garage Door Geeks just installed our garage door opener for our 2-door garage in Oakville. For the purchase of and installation of a wifi-enabled Liftmaster 8365, 2 remotes, an external keypad, the safety sensors, and the button to open the garage, it took about 2 hrs and $500. We got quotes from 5 different people on Homestars and GDG was highly competitive with all of the quotes received, had great ratings, and were available on the day we wanted. Oleh (owner) was also quick to respond to my quote request on a Saturday which was much appreciated. Pavel's work was very well done - great wiring (flush with ceiling, straight lines), and he cleaned up all the tiny bits of garbage that go along with wiring work. He was also very professional and helpful in explaining things (which lightbulbs to use, how to use garage in manual mode, how to program new keys in the keypad, etc). All in all, a great experience. Would recommend!

Jay and Kevin moved us from a 1-bedroom condo in downtown Toronto, to a 2-bedroom condo in downtown Toronto on a Saturday morning. They were very punctual, professional, and friendly. We started at 9am and they were completely finished unloading at our 2nd location 2.5 hours later 11:30am (I chose to help move some of the smaller boxes with them, but they did the large majority of the work). The speed of the move was due to two factors: 1. they work swiftly, and 2. we were ready right away when they arrived (e.g. we had everything in boxes, ready to go, with the exception of our TV, mattress, and futon). They offered free wardrobe boxes, and were professional in wrapping/stacking. All pieces arrived without any damage. Jay, the owner, was very communicative and responsive and was happy to answer my questions in the days coming up to the move. Their price was also very competitive. They were an excellent price given their outstanding ratings. I would absolutely hire them again for a future move, and recommend them to all my friends.
