Originally asked them to come out as we wanted to install a patio door in a room where there is an existing window. We also wanted them to help with a leak in the front of the building we thought was due to eavestrough issue. Long story short we ended up getting all new eavestroughing with leaf guard. We have A LOT of leaves and have to constantly clear the eavestrough. The existing eavestroughing was damaged because previous owners did not look after it properly. We also needed extra downspouts. Water drainage around the house is much better now and less water is going into the sump pump drainage.

Enoch at TNP is a very pleasant, professional, punctual, hard-working young man who holds himself to a high standard. He replaced and disposed of the wall to wall carpeting on the main floor in my two-story house with laminate flooring I chose. He made suggestions and insisted upon very polished finishing’s like a flexible, wood colored molding at the base of the second-floor stairs that looks very good. As it had to wrap around the base of the banister larger nails were needed in that area. He melted some of the wood colored molding to fill those nail holes so they wouldn’t show; very meticulous. He is very particular and takes pride in his work. He is an ambitious, talented, disciplined, energetic entrepreneur who will be very successful in the future. I would definitely hire him again for renovations and new construction like finishing the basement complete with a bathroom. I have asked him to quote on some kitchen and bathroom ceiling lighting renovations. He also altered an entertainment unit for me to modernize it. I am including before and after pictures. He did a really good job on it and I am very pleased with it. I can't get the laminate pictures to rotate and save.

Two professional associates arrived on time, did an excellent job and in less time than expected. They wore protective footwear and kept wood stairs dry. Well worth the money. Would use this company again. Price was competitive.

We heard a strange noise in the attic. We could tell it wasn't a mammal and suspected it was insects but could not identify what it was by the sound. I had to call at least 7 companies who said they didn't handle things like that until I found Pesticon. Long story short Blair and another associate came out on their time on a Sunday morning. He was able to identify very quickly that it was an active wasp nest in the corner of the attic that was creating that noise. It took a while for him to treat it and get it out. He was dripping in perspiration from being in the hot attic and covered in fiberglass by the time he was finished. I really appreciate his effort and insistence that he would resolve the problem. I also appreciate him coming out on the weekend to help us out. I would highly recommend Blair. He is why this company was Best Choice for so many years.

After the high winds we had I noticed a shingle peeking over my eaves trough. I called Michael that morning and he stopped by the same day. I was very impressed with Michael's honesty with me as I can barely see my roof and wouldn't know what I was looking at even if I could unless there was a big bare spot. Only one shingle was missing and Michael repaired it the next day. There was a piece of trim that had come loose just under the eaves trough and Michael also repaired that at my request which I appreciate very much. I was very impressed with the service and especially Michael's trustworthiness. I asked him to give me a quote as the roof is 14 years old and my neighbors are starting to get their roofs replaced. He could have told me I needed a new roof right away and I would not have known whether that was true or not. He was honest with me and told me it wasn't that bad; that I could possibly get a year or two more out of it. I know what replacement costs are from previous experience as well as my neighbors recent replacements and his quote was very competitive. I will definitely call Michael back when it is time to replace my roof.

I found this company on Mike Holmes Website. They participate in many of his videos. This is the second time I have had them repair several plumbing issues in my home. They arrive right on time, do excellent work and clean up after themselves. This time I had two leaking toilets that were just installed by someone else in Nov. I also had a leaking Ensuite faucet, a bathtub shower stop that wasn't working properly and needed new washers for my laundry taps. This work took 5 hours including a trip to Home Depot for a replacement toilet tank. I am female and appreciate very much they helped me do this as I can not lift the tank. The problems were very quickly diagnosed and my options were explained thoroughly. I will call them again when I need plumbing assistance in the future. This work was done in Vaughan.

I have replaced 7 windows with Trimbo Windows. This is the company Mike Holmes uses in his videos. The windows are beautiful. I first replaced my kitchen and bedroom windows 3 years ago with Trimbo windows. They are excellent installers and manufacturers. When I first called them a rep was at my house within 2 hours and helped me with the builder's original window which I could not get closed. That was the first one I replaced with a Trimbo window. I would not use another window company.

I needed to move some furniture from Whitby to Oshawa and Vaughan. I found Rent a Son on Homestars. They are not cheap. This is a Cadillac moving company. I have used less expensive movers before and the difference is night and day. Rent a Son wraps every single piece of furniture with protective quilts. They respect your home, put down blue runners in the house to protect the floor and treat your furniture like it is gold. I would use them again if I was moving. They were excellent.

I needed only a few pieces of furniture moved. My friend used this company without any damage to the bookcase/unit and the price was really good. I used them to move a few pieces of furniture as well. I have to say that they were not gentle with the furniture and there was some damage from scraping the furniture on the asphalt on the road. They do not wrap any of the furniture but they will work for a few hours ( no minimum) and the price was right.

It was discovered that the basement tiles had asbestos in them when I had another contractor there to quote on mold removal. David and his team did an excellent job of totally removing them plus everything that was in the basement excluding appliances. They left it in very good condition, were quick and were the most competitive on top of that. He was easy to reach and responded quickly with my quote request as well as the service. I would call him for mold removal as well if I needed it.

Although I live in Maple I asked Steve to come to my house to do my annual furnace, fireplace and HRV maintenance because of the impression he made when he came to a Whitby house for me to quote on replacing an electrical heating system with Gas. Matt did an excellent job and took the time to explain to me how I could ensure my heat generating equipment operated most efficiently. They are competitive, professional and thorough. When I need a new furnace, AC or fireplace I will call them.
