We met the owner’s son Jason at the Oakville Home Show. We were looking for someone to check and add insulation to our attic so I sent him email after the show. He responded promptly and setup an appointment for an estimate. He arrived on time, checked the attic and went through the process with me. As it turned out our builder had shorted the amount of insulation that was required at the time by about half. This was not surprising as we have been cold in the winter and hot in the summer upstairs since we bought the house. Since the house was built the building code has changed from R32, soon to be R62, so I asked Jason to bring the attic up to R62. When the time came, Jason's father came prepared with everything needed for the job. His crew spent hours prepping the attic, then it took a couple more hours to blow in the insulation. There was an instant noticeable change. We should have done this years ago.
