What can I say that hasn't been said already. Dmitri is a consummate professional and his team is nothing short of the same. Articulate work, efficient and well prepared. They arrived on time and left without any indication whatsoever that the kitchen had just undergone a relatively dusty overhaul. A job well done with a much deserved commendation.

I'll begin by saying that Sam is as pleasant a person you will ever meet. That being said, I had contacted him to help in addressing a few issues that I was having at my place. These ranged from a couple of floor/stair creaks to significant cracking on my exterior concrete stairs. Sam was punctual and again, very courteous, but his knowledge in certain areas is very limited. Pictures of the cracking were sent his way a week prior to our scheduled appointment and as such, it was assumed that he knew what the job itself entailed to ensure the end result would look as similar as possible to the remainder of the staircase. However, the end result was far from it. The floor creak wasn't addressed at all as he didn't feel comfortable in doing so and the solution to the stair creak was essentially drilling a bunch of screws into the stairs, from the top, into the carpet, damaging it in the process. When it still didn't fix the creaking, I asked him as politely as possible to remove the 10+ screws as I'd arrange to have the stairs fixed via other means. I hate to leave such a negative review because he is really a good guy, but I can't say I was really satisfied at all by this experience.

I was able to arrange an appointment via email with Brandon and his crew arrived on time and fully prepared. The job was completed within a couple of hours and I was left extremely satisfied with the final outcome. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend their services.

Andrew completed the project within a deadline I had set and arranged to return for a followup visit to install a new door handle and doorbell, living up to the reviews he's received from other members of this site. He's relatively reliable in terms of communication although as the single owner and operator of a growing company, I'm sure he occasionally gets overwhelmed with the workload and constant inquiries/followup calls. That being said, there are fewer contractors in the industry that would pale in comparison to Andrew's work ethic and desire to keep his client's completely satisfied with the final product. Would have no issues in recommending his services to others looking to update their home's curb appeal.

Val was able to schedule me in on short notice and came by as promised during the reasonable time frame he provided. He was courteous, well mannered and completed the job efficiently. I would have no problem recommending him to anyone who requires his services.

Junior arrived promptly as scheduled and was extremely attentive to detail. He treated his workspace as if it were his own and completed the work in a timely manner, ensuring I was satisfied through every step of the process. In the end, I couldn't have been happier with the outcome and wouldn't hesitate recommending the company to anyone who seeks this type of contractor.

Contracted Renaissance to complete a minor job that I just didn't have the time to do myself; the painting of two bedrooms. I received a prompt reply after leaving a message and was provided with a quick quote. The owner of the company is extremely courteous and professional and was able to accommodate my schedule. One of his employees arrived on the set date and completed the project. Some issues I had... I'm an extremely particular person and was told the painter was attentive to detail, sometimes to a fault, which gave me some sense of relief. However, the skepticism began to set in when I first noticed that none of the top door/window frames were taped off, which resulted in streaks being visible from over the edge. Once completed, I did a once over and saw paint splashes everywhere; window frames, doors, door frames etc. Corners weren't completely painted, and had to be redone. In the end, I ended up having to spend another hour going over the various areas and addressing these issues myself. Lastly, the quoted price reflected the fact that I would be supplying the paint, which I did. Once completed, the painter claimed that he would need another $5 for tape, which left me completely dumbfounded. Do carpenters charge extra for using nails?? This has nothing to do with the $5, it's totally out of principle. You would think when you contract someone out to do a job, the tools and/or accessories required to complete that job would be included in the quoted price unless otherwise indicated. Overall, I can't say I'm dissatisfied. But I contracted this company based on the high reviews it's received. After this experience, I can't say that I believe they were all warranted unless I happened to be the anomaly.

I had Mike come in and assess my layout and ideas. Once he got there, it was quickly determined that the setup I had in mind just wasn't feasible in terms of practicality and viewing pleasure. After some tinkering, we figured out something that would work and I coulnd't be happier with the outcome.
