Mike from Toronto Home Theatre knows his stuff!
Not only did he give me lots of useful advise before my theatre room was built, he also gave me lots of information on the equipment he would recommend to fill the space. He saved me some money too not selling me the most expensive stuff, but rather suggested best bang for my buck.
His install was clean and quick as well.
Id recommend Toronto Home Theatre for any size theatre install!

Mike and his team planned and installed a home theatre in my basement. The service was awesome and Mike made sure we got a fantastic system, without spending more than we needed to. It was a good thing that we involved him early - we were able to make some minor design changes to the room he recommended that made a big difference to the final product. I would highly recommend him and his team if you are looking for a great home theatre system with a company you can trust.

After seeing all the great reviews I reached out to Mike to help make the best of my small space. He was always responsive and helpful in answering my questions and set me up with the exact TV and sound system I wanted. The set up is perfect for the space and the quality is amazing. We just completed installation of a basement home theatre. Mike was super responsive, very informative and provided clear, excellent communication regarding all products ordered. There were no surprises​ with pricing - what Mike told us about cost was what it turned out to be. We found his pricing on equipment to be very fair. His suggestions for what we needed to make our home theatre our new favourite room were spot on. We love it! I highly recommend using Toronto Home Theater!

Mike charged $99 for consultation, we reviewed design with him and his contractor. All seemed to be on the up and up. Then he asked for payment to order the equipment. We paid him for a full Dolby Atmos system, Monitor Audio speakers, TV, over $13K in total. To his credit, he delivered the equipment to us.
However, since delivering the equipment, Mike has gone AWOL. My wife has been phoning him for months.
We are now stuck with $13K in equipment including speakers that we can't install because they don't fit in our walls.

The least he could do is return a phone call.

I would not recommend this company at all. They are just out to sell you as much equipment as possible, take that profit and run with it.

New build with a small living room. Needed to accommodate an electric fireplace while still allowing us to have a projector. Very happy with the end result and would be happy to refer my friends and family to THT.

Mike is an incredible expert in this space. He makes super honest and helpful suggestions while not pushing sales at all. He has transformed our home and we’re so happy. I identified Mike back in early 2017 after having problems with my projector, to which Mike responded really quickly and had resolved within days.
After recently having the 12 year old projector finally succumb to its age, Mike responded immediately to my e-mail and, upon my enquiry on an upgrade, provided not only a great solution, but was onsite within days to compete the install along with re-programming our universal remote control.
As if that wasn't already good enough , we had a lamp failure a few days later, to which Mike undertook a two and a half hour round drive on a weekend in order to resolve the issue to our immediate satisfaction - awesome customer service!
Mike truly values his clients and I am very happy to recommend Toronto Home Theater to anyone who wants to design, build, or upgrade their home entertainment systems.
