An assisted review is collected by a contractor on behalf of the homeowner after their work is completed. The homeowner must confirm the text of the review and may make any changes she or he deems appropriate. The homeowner then assigns the contractor a review score out of 10. Assisted reviews receive the same scrutiny as other reviews and must follow our review guidelines.
I wanted to send along praise for one of your drivers, Tom (I’m forgetting his last name – Morami, perhaps?) He handled our freight from Cambridge, MA into Toronto and it could not have gone more smoothly. Almost all of that is due to his professionalism and expertise. When Mayflower was packing up our belongings in Cambridge, Tom stopped by with a crew member to start what he needed for the loading process. He also took the time to explain to my fiancé and I what was going to happen with immigration and Customs and what we should be prepared for. Having never moved to Canada, we were nervous but having him give us that explanation gave us a lot of confidence and assurance about the move. On the Canadian side, Tom was amazingly helpful in making the Customs process go smoothly. He helped us get all of our paperwork in order, save money, and make sure the process was as stress-free as possible. His crew was quick, professional and totally on the ball when it came to unloading and unpacking at our final destination. I can’t praise Tom enough. His knowledge and work was essential to our move going well. Should we decide to move again, we will certainly be using Mayflower/United because of what a great experience we had.
