An assisted review is collected by a contractor on behalf of the homeowner after their work is completed. The homeowner must confirm the text of the review and may make any changes she or he deems appropriate. The homeowner then assigns the contractor a review score out of 10. Assisted reviews receive the same scrutiny as other reviews and must follow our review guidelines.
Review conducted via telephone How did you hear about our company? I did a search online, visited your website and found pretty much all the information I was looking for. How did you know this type of service was needed? It was actually recommended by our Heating & A/C contractor that we should consider having it done to help make the equipment work more efficiently and reduce the amount of dust in the home. When was the last tim you had this type of service done? We last had our ducts cleaned in 1997. How do you view the quality of our service? It met my expectations. You performed the service exactly as you have outlined on your website, so I am happy. What condition was the work area left in compared to before we arrived? There was no noticeable difference. There was no mess left behind, and everything seems to be in the same place and condition. Thank you. How does our service compare to the previous company you had hired? First and foremost, you arrived on time. You come across as a professional company that knows the business. All work was done to my complete satisfaction. There are many differences, such as the equipment you have seems more powerful than a small portable machine, all vents were sealed off, you used tarps to cover my floor and work area. It took you about 3 hours compared to the last guy I beleive was only there for an hour not even. Would you recommend our company's service? Yes Thank you for your time in helping with this review. Hi Richard, thank you for approving the review in a timely fashion. It was a pleasure to meet you and your family. I would like to emphasize to future potential customers that there are many "new" duct cleaning companies that are popping up in and around the GTA. It's unfortunate but there are only a handful of us that actually do the job properly, have the proper tools & equipment, and have received industry certification. Some of these other companies, like the one Richard had in previously, are in and out of the house in an hour, not even utilizing the proper tools, equipments or procedures. Your HVAC equipment is very expensive, at least $5,000 when you add everything together, so make sure you have someone certified doing the work, because that $99 duct cleaning job, could end up costing you thousands in repairs, and I highly doubt that these companies have the proper insurance, or would take blame for any damages. Be cautious when hiring a contractor. Do research on the company, ask for references, don't just book solely on a "low special price".
